Asado catered our wedding this past weekend in the valley. We had an amazing charcuterie selection during cocktail hour. It was way bigger than we expected! Our mains were the chicken & ribs, smoked beef brisket, and vegan portobello burger, along with roasted potatoes, wok'd veggies, and kale caesar salad.
Every element of the meal was perfect - even better than when we had our tasting! Lots of people went up for seconds, and it did seem like the brisket was the fan favourite.
Communication was excellent, and Diana was a wonderful person to work with. Staff onsite were friendly and super helpful, even offering to cut our wedding cake when that was not really in their job description for the night. JJ, Lachlan, and Chef Nick were smiling all night despite the pouring rain (that occurred only during dinner), and were so pleasant. We highly recommend Asado.

sad that I have to leave this review, because I enjoyed this spot up until today. I'm leaving two stars because my first experience there was much better than today. I decided to bring my buddy here for lunch and I got a brisket sandwich with extra coleslaw instead of mac n cheese on the side. The worker didn't tell me there was barely any slaw left and just filled my takeout container with the juice from the bottom of the bag its stored in. It was to the point where all 3 separators in the takeout container were like community pools for coleslaw. I asked for extra slaw and got less than the regular serving. The brisket on our sandwiches was 75% un-rendered fat and neither of us could eat it. It was like I was gnawing on a Michelin tire. All the coleslaw juice ruined my sandwich bun and was completely soaked and soggy after the 4 minute drive. Overall I couldn't have been more disappointed with the experience today for lunch and wont be returning unless a love one is held hostage there.

I just ate lunch from this place and the brisket sandwhich was the soggyest car tire I've ever eaten, the coleslaw was just milk that destroyed the buns and the brisket was so tough and mostly fat I had to deconstruct my sandwich and eat it with a steak knife. The mac and cheese was the only edible thing that was creamy and smokey, but other than that I do not suggest

HIGHLY recommend Asado for your wedding catering. Pleasant, professional staff who know their stuff and will help you every step of the way from menu planning onwards. They provided a ton of helpful advice about quantity and variety of foods and we ended up with the perfect amount.
Wedding day execution was seamless -- it's probably a testament to the quality of their work that I hardly even remember needing to interact with the staff on the day of. They are self sufficient and just do their thing, and they do it well.
As for the food... we had guests at our wedding who literally taste food for a living. When they came to us wide-eyed about how amazing the BBQ was, we knew we'd hit it out of the park. The chicken and ribs were absolutely incredible, and the lobster boil was beautifully presented for the out-of-towners at their first maritime wedding.

They advised us on the perfect amount of food based on our guest count and the cocktail-style vibe we wanted, crafting a menu that fit perfectly with our vision. Since we opted for finger foods, Asado did an amazing job presenting everything beautifully on platters and a wooden structure that matched the décor of the venue. The staff was attentive, continually replenishing items as they got low, and the flow of food was seamless. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food, and we were thrilled to even have a few leftovers to enjoy after the event! One thing we especially appreciated was how self-sufficient they were. They didn’t need to be in and out of the kitchen, allowing everything to run smoothly without any disruptions. They were professional and worked so efficiently, it was like a well oiled machine in background. We couldn't have been happier with their service.
Legitimately confused by the positive reviews for this place. Was bad in a lot of ways. Dirty rice was mushy and the least flavourful rice I’ve ever had. The Mac n cheese was so so oily and under seasoned, didn’t look anything like the pics taken on the reviews here. Corn bread was stale and flavourless. BBQ itself was mid at best. Unfortunate.

I would highly recommend booking Asado for any event you may have. They catered our wedding and the staff was nothing but kind and professional. We had many guests with food allergies and Asado made coming up with a menu so easy. And they were able to accommodate our vegan guests without an issue.
