One of my favorite spots in the city. Authentic Lebanese food. Beautiful ambiance. Hospitality top tier! I Highly recommend it.
We went for valentines and had the set menu that was $100 /person. It was fantastic with great portions.
Dined at the restaurant numerous times As usual excellent food. Very savory and very well prepared. Service top notch
We had a wonderful lunch on Saturday. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the presentation is amazing! The decor in atmosphere of the restaurant reflects the five star experience that we had. Highly recommended for vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters alike!
Our food was excellent, tasty and plentiful and the service was perfect. Noise level was fairly high, although the restaurant was not overly busy for a Saturday night. We'd definitely come back!
Fantastic meal and wonderful ambience. This was for lunch, but I look forward to returning to dinner. This may be a new favourite dining spot in Halifax. Great selection that also allows for vegans, which is much appreciated.
Appetizers are amazing. Entrees not so much (roasted meats with dry sides) I would recommend ordering more appetizers instead of the mains. Service, ambience, noise level all great.
Fabulous food and service - only criticism was eggplant medley dish was majority rice and only 1 piece of eggplant but it was still very tasty.
This was our first visit to the restaurant and absolutely loved it. The food, service , ambiance was amazing.
The restaurant is nice with good setup and good service. Prices are higher than average, and the food is very good. The only bad thing was the smelly water they serve that likely had bacteria and sand in it. For a restaurant like that, filtered water should be a standard.

Service was great. Loved the fact that we never felt rushed. Food was delicious. Overall a great experience. Highly recommend.
We will eat here again. We liked the food . They turned down the music when asked. But we wished the music had been native to the area the food was from. Christmas music was not appropriate. We came to talk quietly and privately and that was good. So this is a place we will enjoy again.
Excellent - Au Lebans is now our favourite restaurant in Downtown Hfx. I see you recently update the lighting/ambience. Looks wonderful. Now the ambience matches the food!!! Well done. Service is excellent!!! I recommend to everyone!!!
Very tasty food! Everything that our group ordered was delicious, and smelled incredibly good.
The service here was excellent, the room is quite nice, and the food was good. The Hummus was excellent, as was the puffy bread it came with. The rosewater ice cream dessert was very good (though a bit on the small side for $12), and the entrees we had (beef & lamb kefta; lamb chops) were decent. Both were a bit over-cooked (e.g. the lamb chops were medium instead of medium-rare), and the lamb chops needed a bit more seasoning. For $46 on the latter, and a mid-$30 price point on the kefta, we were a bit disappointed. Finally, the Christmas decorations and music in late-November were pretty over the top. I celebrate this holiday, but not all in our diverse city do, and it's a bit much even for me to be inundated for a whole month, here throughout your dining experience before we're even close to the holiday. My guest was Jewish, and I'm not sure how comfortable that would make them.
