Very tasty food! Everything that our group ordered was delicious, and smelled incredibly good.

The service here was excellent, the room is quite nice, and the food was good. The Hummus was excellent, as was the puffy bread it came with. The rosewater ice cream dessert was very good (though a bit on the small side for $12), and the entrees we had (beef & lamb kefta; lamb chops) were decent. Both were a bit over-cooked (e.g. the lamb chops were medium instead of medium-rare), and the lamb chops needed a bit more seasoning. For $46 on the latter, and a mid-$30 price point on the kefta, we were a bit disappointed. Finally, the Christmas decorations and music in late-November were pretty over the top. I celebrate this holiday, but not all in our diverse city do, and it's a bit much even for me to be inundated for a whole month, here throughout your dining experience before we're even close to the holiday. My guest was Jewish, and I'm not sure how comfortable that would make them.

This is the third time my family has been here. Their food and service is excellent and CONSISTENT. never disappoints. They also ask if we are there on a special occasion and offer desserts for birthday. They gave use extra pita to finish our dips. This is our family's favourite restaurant by far

One of the very best restaurants in Halifax. It's become our ‘go to' place. The food is sublime and always arrives artfully displayed, at the right temperature, with little wait-time. The restaurant is beautifully appointed making the atmosphere warm and inviting; the staff is knowledgeable, professional, efficient and kind - Go Rudy! If I could give it more than 5-stars, I would.

Food was amazing and tested really good however the waitress rarely ever came by our table even when we wanted to order more food. The food has a very authentic taste but the service at the restaurant was horrible

Au Liban is definitely one of our favorite Mediterranean restaurants. The food here is amazing and we are always satisfied. Service was good, we did feel like we had to wait longer than we should have for more drinks seeing that there were not many people dinning at the time we were. We were disappointment with the drinks here, we feel they are consistently not good. Whenever we order a specific drink, it either tastes bad or does not taste the way it should. Overall, amazing food, but we would like to having Amazing drinks as well.

Had a wonderful greeting by hostess Lauren. While waiting for my partner to arrive I was served a drink almost immediately. Once he arrived, we were there for 25 minutes without a waitress checking in for his drink order. He actually had to walk up to the bar and ask them to send a waitress over to our table. Very disappointing because they weren't really busy at that time. The food however was delicious! I'd go back to give it another go just for the food! Speed of service needs improvement!

I didn’t catch her name, but I really hope she gets recognized (and maybe even a raise!) because she’s the kind of person who makes customers want to come back again and again. Thank you ❤️
