I enjoyed everything about it. First of all, Canadians are the best. Lindsey and Nicole were super bartendresses. Ambiance is excellent. Low lights, wood beams, exposed brick, and the best part was that the music wasn’t too loud for my 44 year old grumpy self. Thank you for having reasonable music levels. Steak was excellent. Ribs were excellent. Drinks were excellent. Nice job.

The food at Baton Rouge was incredible—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Our server, Lindsey, made the experience even better with her friendly, attentive service. That laced with the calming ambiance of the resturant made this experience excellent dining all around!

Nice location. Nice atmosphere. The server dude ( Criswin ) did a really good job. 👍🏼 The cold ( not even warm ) fries, the bland ribs, the chicken burger with the soggy bun, the rusty lettuce in the Caesar salads and the steak all need work…a lot of work. This was my first time to Baton Rouge, Halifax. Had I known what to expect, I would have just gone to the buffet at Casino Nova Scotia OR gone for some decent food at Mic Mac Bar & Grill, in Dartmouth. I had very high hopes for Baton Rouge… What a huge disappointment. If you go, I hope you have a much better experience. ** Edit - that visit was April 17, 2025. I went back today for a coworker that is retiring. I wanted to eat light so I only ordered fries. Even they were cold. Same server, as well, so they really don’t seem to care. You got me twice. That’ll be enough of that place for me, thanks.

I enjoyed a nice steak supper the other evening and had great service from Logan. I intended to recommend more people to go, especially if hes working. In all I found the location to be a bit inconvenient but the service and the meal more than made up for it.
