The patio has a fun and colorful vibe, perfect for enjoying drinks outside. They do excellent margarita variations, with one reviewer praising the spicy to fun ratio as absolutely delicious. The menu features dishes like Brussels sprouts with cashew crema, smashed avocado and chips, mushroom birria tacos, Elote Riblets, Poblano pepper sopa, roasted pork sandwich, and churros. The restaurant pays homage to different Latin cultures through their fusion of foods, such as the bravas Brussel sprouts, which many find spectacular. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, especially in its location at the heart of the waterfront, with plenty of parking nearby, though a short walk may be needed. Inside seating and a patio are available, making it suitable for families and groups. While service can occasionally be slow, the terrific food, fun environment, and attention to dietary details make Bar Sofia a place worth visiting again. It is a beautiful place and the service and food were great. Appetizers were really delicious, unique and great with wonderful margaritas (exceptional selection of tequilas). This is a fun spot to go, with a great playlist and active vibe to it. Not only is the ambience great, so is the food and drinks!
