They didn’t serve nachos which is why I came there me and my friend ordered drinks and guacamole with chips while the food was okay I find for the price the portion size was very small
Amazing food and the waitress ( I wish I remembered your name!) is so friendly and kind. Beautiful decor and location too. 🫶🏻

If you love, like or want a margarita get your bottom over here! Bar sofia has one of the best margaritas Halifax has to offer, they nailed the spicy to fun ratio. Absolutely delicious!
The restaurant pays homage to different latin cultures beautifully with their fusion of foods such as the bravas Brussel sprouts. We had a hard time deciding what to order as everything sounded spectacular! We only tried appies for food, they were yummy, however the toppings for most the appies we got are around the same.
The atmosphere is fun and colourful, right at the heart of the new waterfront.
This restaurant is in the waterfront so there is parking nearby in the big lots. You might just have to walk a little bit. Plenty of sitting inside and in their patio!

Beautifully designed interior. Loved their Pina Colada. Could have add more coconut flavour, since the one we got had a bit more of pine apple flavour.

Amazing food and superb service! We ducked in for a quick drink and snack so we split the brisket tacos. The meat was tender and so flavourful, would definitely have again!

Nice spot but the music was so loud I literally couldn't hear the person I was there with.
Turn the music down a little and it'd be a really great place to grab a drink.

It was my husband and I’s first time dining at this restaurant. I ordered the chips and guac, and he got the seafood risotto. I asked the waitress if it was possible to add shrimp to my chips and guac, and she kindly made it happen—though she didn’t mention how it would be priced.
I received 4 pieces of shrimp, and when the bill arrived, we were surprised to see a $14 charge labeled as “add salmon” for those shrimp. That seemed quite excessive. The shrimp tasted great, so I asked for another round—another 4 pieces—and we were again charged $14.
In total, we ended up paying $28 for 8 pieces of MINI shrimp, which is the equivalent of two salmon add-ons according to the bill. It would’ve been appreciated if the waitress had given us a heads-up about how they would price it beforehand..

Went with my friends for a birthday party. Had the brussel sprouts and brisket tacos, both were really great. Also got recommended the poem Malbec by our server and it was a bit sweet for me but good if you like sweeter cocktails. Our server made the experience, I forget her name but she was tall with brown hair, very engaging and made our experience extra special. Will definitely be coming back.

This spot is so adorable!
Our food was phenomenal and the service was amazing. Our server Marika was so kind, friendly and gave us some lovely suggestions. Definitely check this place out for some nice drinks near the waterfront!

Friendly, and helpful staff made sure everything I ordered was vegan — some items required modifications. I had the Brussels sprouts (with cashew crema instead of aioli), smashed avocado and chips, and mushroom birria tacos. Delicious and filling. In the future, it would be great if they included a menu item with a little more protein. The patio had a fun vibe, and they do great margarita variations. Clean restaurant and bathrooms.
