I didn't like the service at the entrance or the staff. The worst place I've ever been to. Maybe I'll change my mind in the future, but today I'm not happy.

We decided to go out for lunch because the holiday decor was simply magical, but in the end I was completely won over for life by my experience. I recently discovered that I couldn't have a certain ingredient, so I was new to ordering in restaurants. The chef came to our table and kindly went through everything I could eat. He was so understanding, and even though I had to omit some ingredients, I absolutely loved my meal. I had the mushroom birria tacos, Brussel sprouts, and guac and chips, and they were incredible! I just want to say thank you for your kindness, and I’ll definitely be back. I think this is a hidden gem in plain sight. Please go for a festive holiday lunch with friends, or just any lunch!! so fun, and delicious.

Went there for our Christmas party/dinner. We had about 20 people. Bar Sofia is decorated for Christmas, very pleasant atmosphere. The waitress was happy, had a great memory and delivered our food and drinks in very reasonable time. Food was good, drinks were tasty and we all had a great time. Will go back.

Amazing atmosphere here! We just went for the “sleigh-bar”, and it was so fun, the decorations are so over the top, I loved it! We love coming here for drinks and appetizers. You can never go wrong with the chips and guac, or my favourite margarita, “400 Bad Bunnies”🤩😋

This place has an amazing employee by the name of Megan!!! Tonight, a lady took a bad fall outside the restaurant and Megan (in freezing weather) ensured that this lady was comfortable, called an ambulance, provided blankets and was beyond outstanding in her care. She stood outside in freezing weather with a sweater on ensuring that all needs were met. People like Megan are rare and need to be acknowledged💞💞

My first time at Bar Sophia was last night, the service was great and the food was tasty but the portions are quite small... and I get fully easily. The section of the restaurant we were in gave off "cafeteria vibes" - not sure we'll be back anytime soon.

We went there last week with no reservation and sat at the bar in front of their open kitchen with our 10-month-old baby. We had a wonderful experience. The food and drinks were fantastic. Furthermore, the chef, Jean-François, was incredibly kind and interactive with our baby, even making him his very own guacamole to enjoy while watching Ms. Rachel. It was truly heartwarming to see such a lovely and thoughtful staff, even on a very busy Friday night.
Food is great, nice decor, and vibe. Service is a little too casual for my liking but that is likely a reflection of my age (+70) more than anything. This is our 4th visit and we will return.

From the moment we walked into Bar Sofia, we knew we'd made the right choice. The place was decorated to the nines for the holidays. It was a wonderful place to be, so colourful and bright. Our servers were amazing, the drinks were delicious and the food was scrumptious. It was also really fun to have a view of the bar and all the drinks being made. Definitely order the guac and chips and the churros for a full experience. So happy they had room for us and capped off our special day.

The place is ok if you are only going for drink and dance . However, the servers are in rush to attend everyone and don't explain the menu for drinks which strangely is priced in such a way that you need to build your drink. We ordered a glass of cocktail and were charged $37 which was not even told to us .... Food was ok only , the quality of food has gone down way much. It was so loud and noisy that we can't hear each other in the table despite of literally yelling. Overall , it's not worth money anymore !
