Wow! The best Indian food we have had in Nova Scotia! We had both classic butter chicken and the mango chicken and both were so good we took home the sauce that was left over! And great value - with tip for 4 was under $120 - highly recommend.

We tried the Paneer Lababdar and Garlic Naan at Besharam in Halifax, and everything was absolutely amazing. The food was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The staff were very friendly, took the time to explain the dish, and made us feel comfortable and welcome. Great experience overall — highly recommend! 😊

This was my first time at Besharam and it did not disappoint! We had the Chicken Korma, Paneer Butter Masala, a few appetizers, rice and garlic naan. Everything was amazing especially the curries and the garlic naan. I highly recommend!

Been here about a dozen times, food is always excellent. Last time we were there, the food was amazing, but the wait staff were really inattentive and it took us half an hour to get our bills as they couldn't figure out how to split it for three couples even though we ordered food as couples. They asked if we wanted 1 bill at the end of it, so three of us went up to the bar and helped them break down who had what as we were running late for a concert at that point. Will be back, but sad to see the quality of service isn't as good as it used to be.

An early reservation at 5 pm on Friday 28 November 2025 was my second dining experience at Besharam. It provided a wonderful opportunity to introduce the restaurant to a close friend (and former Haligonian) visiting from Alexandria, Ontario. Everything was perfect: comfortable seating, a menu with lots of vegetarian options, timeliness, delicious food, my mocktail, conversation with our knowledgeable server, and the price value of our food. Did I mention five takeaway containers? We were happy to support a local eatery before a concert at the Dalhousie Arts Centre. I know I will be using my coupon. Thank you so much.

Yet another exceptional family meal we have enjoyed here. Excellent service, excellent food in very enjoyable surroundings. Would recommend to anyone looking for a Indian flavour experience.

The BEST service and I only have 5 stars b/c you can't leave a 6 star rating. Rahul was exceptional: attentive, intentionally helpful. The food was beyond excellent, fully flavourful with no shortcuts in presentation or preparation. You absolutely must dine here if you want authentic cuisine and service from staff who genuinely care about your experience.

I love this little Gem overlooking spring garden road. Great patio on a nice day. The food is so fresh and flavourful. The service couldn't be any better. Always love going here especially when the Filmfest is going on and weather is warm and sunny.

The space is beautiful with bright colours and low lighting. The servers are very kind, efficient and helpful with suggesting options! The food is always so fresh, flavourful, colourful and well prices for the quality! We had their Dine for 2 and had to take half of our servings home!

Best Indian Food in town! The he atmosphere is so sublime and the service is top level as they never forget to add that personal touch to everything.
