I always enjoy ordering the lamb vindaloo with naan from this restaurant — it's full of flavor and made just the way I like it, especially since I don't eat butter. They always accommodate my preferences perfectly. The staff are genuinely friendly, especially Jayshree and Kritee who made me feel welcome. Great atmosphere and consistently delicious food. Highly recommend!

I had wanted to go for a long time and it did not disappoint! The food was fantastic; authentic, flavourful and plentiful. The service was outstanding. The people at Besharam were just so friendly and accommodating. I encourage anyone to go!! 5 stars!!!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was beyond disappointing. I visited this restaurant expecting a decent meal, but what I got instead was cold food and even colder service. My main dish arrived lukewarm at best. I politely mentioned it to the server, who assured me it would be fixed right away. It came back just as cold—if not colder. I brought it up again, and again, the same thing happened. By the third time, it was clear they either didn’t care or didn’t know how to reheat food properly. No apology, no compensation, just indifference. For a place that charges premium prices, I expect at least hot food and basic customer service. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Just had the most incredible dinner at Beshsram Bar & Grill with my 13-year-old son last night, and it completely blew us away! From the warm welcome to the beautifully spiced dishes, everything was beyond amazing. The flavours were rich and authentic, and the service was thoughtful and attentive without being overbearing. My son, who can be a tough critic, was raving about the food the entire way home—and that says a lot! It was one of those meals you just don't forget. We can't wait to come back. Highly recommend for anyone craving top-notch Indian cuisine and a memorable dining experience!

Food was excellent. We were given advise on what items we might enjoy based on preferences. Food was very flavourful, hot and fresh. Cocktails were interesting and delish!

This is one of the best places I have been to in Halifax. The cocktails were really amazing. The bartender took his time but it was well worth the short wait as each drink we tried was great. The food was spectacular. I loved the lamb curry and everyone at my table spoke about how good their dish was. I highly recommend this place. I will 100% to returning here during my next visit to Halifax.

All of our favourite dishes have disappeared from the new menu. Friends wo also supported yhis restaurant are also disappointed toi learn this. Besharam had a good thing going but now we iuntend to support other Indian restaurants.

We had such a great experience here tonight. The staff were very friendly, they set up 2 high chairs for our babies upon the reservation. We had enough space to move around with our stroller. Their plates are beautiful, and the staff made sure we all got different patterns of plates, my daughter was so excited to see the vibrant colours on the plates. The food tasted amazing, everything was great. Was highly recommended by Indian friends. Will definitely come back again!

A must try place for varieties of options from Apetizers to entre to main course.
Pricing can be a little better. Service is top notch. The portion is good enough for 1 person only. Not shareable. Must try indian restaurant. Kids friendly item can be an advantage. It lacks items for kids under 5 years of age.
