Sadly the service has gone down considerably... the waitresses are too distracted and fails to take our orders. This has happened in the last 3 times we were there but this last time was the worse... since she show no care for our last order because she was too busy talking to others to later wanting to buy my review with a free drink. Its sad because its a really good restaurant. I hope they improved.

Best Vietnamese restaurant in Halifax. I love the BBQ bun and beef noodles here! 100% worth, Our service with pretty nails, she was super friendly and helped us pick out a few different dishes. Left a 20% tip without hesitation. Well deserved! Will back:(

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.
After being seated, I was left waiting almost four minutes before anyone bothered to tell me that ordering was done via QR code. There was no notice on the table, and since this was not the ordering process during my previous visits, I had no reason to guess this on my own.
After placing my order, I waited over 40 minutes with absolutely nothing arriving. Throughout this time, I repeatedly tried to get staff attention through eye contact, only to be completely ignored. I was finally able to speak to a server only when another table happened to be receiving their food.
That is when I was informed that, due to a “system issue,” my order was never sent to the kitchen at all. I was told to wait another 5–7 minutes. Fifteen minutes later, I still had no food, no drink, not even the milk tea I ordered.
No apology. No accountability. No urgency. No attempt to make things right.
The level of service was unacceptable, and it genuinely made me question whether solo diners are simply not worth the staff’s time. If that’s how this restaurant operates, customers should be warned.
Completely disappointing. I will not be returning.

The grilled chicken skewers were incredibly flavorful—juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned, with a delicious peanut sauce that tied everything together. The bowl was fresh and well-balanced, with crisp vegetables, vermicelli noodles, and a refreshing lime on the side. The spring rolls were golden and crispy on the outside, with a generous, tasty filling inside. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. Great portion size and very satisfying overall. I would definitely order this again!

I've been here many times, and each time has been a great experience. The rice noodles have an authentic flavor and the portions are generous. My favorites are the soft-shell crab and the shumai; I order them every time. I'll definitely be a regular customer.
We bring in a pizza so that our 5 year old kid can eat with our family, however the server told us that is a company policy not to bring outside food. We understand that is their policy, so we just leave and find other restaurant. But I hope they will consider if the food are for the toddlers or kids.
