Beyond Temptation: Indian restaurant | Indian Street Food in Halifax

I visited with my friend and the experience was ok until we got our order. We ordered mysore masala dosa but the food was stale. There was foul smell coming from the masala and it was very sticky. We told them but they justified by saying thats how mysore masala is. But thats not right the food was stale and stinking. The person didnt even bother saying sorry their attitude was very unprofessional. I used to like this place but i will never visit again. Approach was not very pleasant should have said sorry but they were adamant that its not bad.

Me n my friend Ordered Mysore masala dosa we both got weird smell from masala and it had weird texture, I went and told him the masala is spoiled he said no that's how Mysore masala tastes I told this is not the first time I m having Mysore masala dosa I told them to give me plain he replaced it, at the time of payment he charged us plain dosa that's ok but still he was arguing about how the masala is not bad and it's just coz they just added water to increase quantity of masala that's why it tastes like that he said. After all he did not said sorry or apologize in any kind. Also there was no heated conversation at all so I did not offend him in any kind.

It was not good at all, we order ferrero rocher thick shake. The name itself is thick shake but it wasnt good at all. No quality at first days, it was very good. Now the prices are increased and the quality degraded. I am very dissatisfied

Very bad services. See the pictures I ordered from this restaurant and they send me this. I don’t even tasted it. Also they send me the burger in just transparent wrapper shown in the picture even they don’t have any plastic bags or something to pack food for delivery.

I ordered sandwich they just added a lots of cucumbers and sauce only in the sandwich. Total waste of money. Will never order again.

The ambiance of this place is nice. Talking about the food, it is tempting and delicious. Tried a lot of their items and loved it. But the quantity is less as compared to the prices.
Sambar is served in a very small container not sufficient enough for one person.
Anyone living in halifax or nearby should give them a visit.
The lady at the counter is really sweet.

The food here is good, but our experience was ruined by the long wait. We were told it would take 30 minutes due to a kitchen issue, which was fine. But then we were told 10-15 more minutes, and after asking again, another 20 minutes. If they’d been honest about the wait from the start, we would have understood. Waiting over an hour without clear updates was really disappointing.

The food was no doubt good but I purchased steam momos whose price was on menu board $10 something but they charged me $17 something that’s fine. After, waiting for 20 min we got too less quantity which was only 6. Imagine paying $17.24 and getting quantity of 6 which is on take out but the people who were in dine-in they served 10. Like what is this? Not only this but the people who visited after us they got their food before us. Really, disappointed with the quantity and expenses.
