DONT BOTHER!! Horrible service… made a bunch of excuses for why my order skipped ice cream quality is average at best… Overpriced, unprofessional Joke!! … just go to Cows.. wait in line and get great ice cream, professionally served…. Forget this Clown show!

Simply the best place on the waterfront for ice cream! It's cheaper than the other ice cream places on and just as tasty, if not better! Black Bear Ice cream is also locally owned by some very very sweet people. If you want a sweet treat while you stroll, stop by and get your ice cream!!

Unfortunately not such great ice cream. In my opinion it was more ice than cream.
Reply to the owner's comment below: I've ordered one portion of grapefruit and one portion of chocolate, both ice creams (not sherbets). The "grapefruit" didn't taste like grapefruit at all. More like a vanilla with some unrecognizable bits in it. The chocolate was just too deluded with bits of ice and too "watery". I even asked the seller if the order was correct. (BTW the seller was nice and friendly).

Great product from an independent icecream producer. In Halifax for a vacation, it's been years since I've had a "Grapenut" flavoured icecream, it met and exceeded my expectations. And the price posted INCLUDES the tax, NICE!
