I visited The Black Sheep restaurant at its new location on Lower Water st. today and it did not disappoint. Having visited the Dresden location in the past, I will say it has even gotten better. Despite the trout benedict being sold out, I ordered the pastrami benedict, eggs were cooked perfectly and the in house smoke flavour on the pastrami was delicious. We had a lovely brunch on the rooftop patio this morning. All of the staff was smiling and welcoming, the service was great and our meals were perfect. Great spot to start your day with a mimosa
We had shrimp ceviche, seafood chowder, lobster ravioli and Roulade...and Roulade is a show stopper, creative and well constructed dessert.
The only throw back is the hanging artificial pothos. It does not fit with the quality of the space.
