Purchased a skewer plate to-go. Was very good. Place was clean and staff were very friendly. Owner came over and offered for us to sit at a table , even though we weren’t staying. Taziki was fresh, wish I would have tried their potatoes!

Irst off, my first review EVER.... but needed to be done.....Visiting my son from TO . Stopped in to this little gem to end my weekend and I am OVER THE MOON THAT WE DID. First off, adorable little atmosphere.... meets all the requirements for atuthricity Food was perhaps the best Greek food I have had in my recent memory..... ever really. And to top it off .. HELEN! I HAVE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE HOW FULL HER AURA MADE MY SOUL FEEL. wWorking in the industry myself, I only hope when people leave our establishment, they feel as happy as we did after our encounter with her. She truly was the highlight! Thank YOU Helen and the rest of the amazing staff for a experince. I cant wait to tell everyone about tgis beautiful spot in the heart of Halifsx. You were the cherry on top to a splendid weekend with my boy. Thank you.... thank you.... thank you CHEERS.

Great flavours at an unassuming authentic Greek restaurant. Amanda was a very pleasant and helpful host, and the price was also reasonable for the serving sizes. When in Halifax, you better check out this place.

Not the greek food i was expecting. Feels like souvlaki sticks were from Costco. This was NOT Greek food. Try any greek restaurant (even the worst one) in Montreal and it’ll be better greek food. Food wasn't good but the take out service was excellent.

The food here is absolutely amazing, but the service is a whole other level. Jimmy the owner is beyond friendly giving such a welcoming atmosphere easily able to make conversation and joke with the customers. Our waitress Amanda was so very kind and just as welcoming. You can tell that there number one priority is guest experience. I first came to this place 6 years ago when visiting the city and since moving here I have been back many more times. I recommend it to everyone that comes to visit me and they all leave extremely satisfied and ready to pass on the word of Halifax’s best kept secret. 100% recommend

Always a delicious meal. I was alone and felt bad holding up a table, but nothing was going to stand between me and the Chicken Spanakopita. So glad it is on the menu. Way back, it was only available on Fridays.

I had been wanting to to try Blue olive for a while and it did not disappoint. I was in for lunch yesterday, loved that both menus were available. Great spot, service was friendly. Food was delicious and fresh. The owner Dimitri was very nice as he came over to make conversation and make sure everything was good. Will definitely be coming back! Thank you!

We had a lovely dinner here of Melitzanosalata (puree of eggplant, eaten like a dip), Kolokithia (fried zucchini slices), Greek Salad, and Paithakia Arniou (lamb chops). Everything was amazing. We had a really good red wine from Greece whose price was very reasonable. The service was warm and welcoming. We will definitely eat there again!
