Ordered on UberEats, only ate a few bites since everything was extra oily and rubbery and got sick after 3 hours 🤢

This was an excellent place for traditional fish and chips. The service was excellent.

The food is great and the atmosphere is great as well. But the server a lady with short white hair name ‘Photoni’ doesn’t know how to serve customer at all. After we sit down on a table I swear within 5 minutes she asked 3 times that are we order for order or not. And that time the restaurant was very quiet as well, not busy at all. Then before we finish our food she was like can I get the plates and are you guys ready for bill. Then she grabbed my friend’s plate and asking her “are you done?”. At least let us finish our food properly. We are paying for our food. Not, a single time she asked us how’s the food, like the basic customer service. I mean don’t be cranky if you don’t want to do your job. Whereas the other servers were very friendly.

Bluenose management please teach her how to do the customer service because only the good food doesn’t work sometimes you need to learn how to welcome and serve the customers.

I am clam chowder lover. I must try it wherever I go to seafood restaurants. It was only 3 tables were occupied less than one hour its closing time. It was totally unexpected clam chowder as good reviews restaurant. The soup was baby warm, sourness, lots of chunk of potatoes without creamy seafood flavor. I was thinking to pay and leave. But a friendly staff came and checked on me. I asked him to put it a microwave due to not hot at all. (Wanted have it as food safety temperature point at least.) The staff service was excellent. Because it came back as nice and hot. That’s why I enjoyed the potatoes so much. The clams were tiny one barely tasted. I felt as just lack of LOVE in food by chef. I accepted as THE way of chef’s reputation. It was ok as potatoes soup.

Wide menu with good value for the portions. Classic diner-style spot — casual and a bit outdated but cozy. We tried the lobster roll, fish and chips, and clam chowder. The fish and chips were the standout, great flavor and crispy fries. The chowder was rich and creamy but a bit cold, and the lobster roll was good but not amazing. Overall, a solid place for a casual meal, though not sure it’s the best representation of Halifax seafood.

We stopped by Bluenose II right after landing in Halifax, and it was the perfect choice! The lobster roll was fresh and delicious, the clam chowder was FANTASTIC!!! And our server, Hawk was incredibly welcoming.
