If you want fresh, authentic Jamaican food, Brawta in Halifax, Pizza Corner, is the place to go. Everything is absolutely delicious—jerk chicken, fried chicken, curry chicken, oxtail, curry goat… you name it, they nail it. The mac and cheese is out of this world.
Having traveled all over Canada, I can honestly say I’ve never had Jamaican food this good anywhere else. The owners should be incredibly proud—they have a true gem on their hands.

I have been here for so many times that I can’t even count. Their food is perfect and their service is amazing. I literally have no bad comments about this restaurant, the staffs here are so kind and friendly, and food is so delicious. 10/10!!

One of our absolute favourite stops on the boardwalk! The Jamaican patties are fresh, flaky, and full of flavour – some of the best we’ve had. The Jerk Chicken Mac and Cheese and Tofu Mac and Cheese were both standouts too: spicy, cheesy, and packed with bold flavour. On top of the amazing food, the lady working there was so incredibly kind and hardworking, which made the whole experience even better.

This is definitely a must-visit if you’re in the area...
