Buta ramen Reviews
One of the best ramen I've had.
Coming from Singapore & having travelled in Japan and eaten a wide variety of Ramen in Tokyo, the ramen served at Buta Ramen is comparable to the delicious bowls from Tokyo & tastes better than many of the ramens I have had in SG. (We we’re at their Halifax outlet which has a very understated outdoor appearance & very little branding so it was easy to miss but it’s located very close to the Dalhousie campus, along Morris Street. They have other outlets elsewhere eg Dartmouth.)...read full review
Staff is so rude, the girl said I don’t care and it’s not my priority, as I waited 25 to do Uber delivery.
To make it worse, I asked her to be nice, she said if you don’t like it go , I don’t care

Menu
Buta Ramen is a cozy restaurant with no outside signage, making it easy to miss. The potato croquettes are crispy and served hot, while the Nagasaki champon comes with mussels, squid rings, and grilled pork belly. The bibimbap is delicious, and the karaage chicken is a standout dish. The tonkotsu ramen has fresh broth, not packaged. Customers praise the restaurant's ramen, especially the Tantamen, as the best they've had. The seafood ramen is rich, comforting, and packed with depth, and the baby fried octopus is perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The menu also includes a great vegetarian ramen, which was highly praised for its flavor and freshness. The yaki soba with vegetables is another popular choice. Many visitors have enjoyed the spicy miso ramen, noting the chewy noodles, good spice level, and tasty broth. Prices are fair, and the place offers good service. Overall, Buta Ramen is a must-visit for seafood lovers and ramen enthusiasts looking for delicious, well-prepared dishes in a cozy setting.
