I have found the staff to be generally very lovely but the coffee unfortunately is just mediocre (even though I do normally like have fun beans) and I’ve tried it now on multiple occasions
I was in Halifax for a trip and stumbled into this place on a Sunday cause nothing else was open. My first experience there was great although a longer wait the coffee was good. And the tomato soup was Probalby the best tomato soup I’ve ever had. It was full of flavour and a little spicy super delicious. The next day I went back to get more and it did not taste like that at all unfortunately. And was completely different :( kinda a huge bummer to go from 100 to 0
Ample space to stay and work/study. Nice playlist. The counter staff was unwelcoming which was surprising. The barista was friendly. Menu seems varied I can’t comment as I only had a flat white. I had requested extra hot and it came lukewarm and not full. I’m not appreciating the mandatory minimum 15% tip option.
