These guys have the best chicken corn soup
Always consistently delicious and very nice portions. It's our go to sincere the past 6+ years.
First time at Canton Garden. Service was very friendly and professional. Food was awesome. Highly recommended.
The food is very tasty and is authentic Chinese food. They have great service and is one of my favourite places to get takeout from. Would recommend!
Best Chinese food in Halifax. Good size servings and nice service. We tried 4 others and this is best by far.
This is one of the most delicious Chinese Cantonese restaurants I've ever had in Halifax.
Food was alright, service was a little lacking -- I was seated for about 15m before someone came over to see me, there were only a few others in the restaurant.. but fair price and quality of food.

Food was horrible. $58 no break on bill. Left combo and whole dish of Shanghai noodles there! Horrible! Glass of water was fine.

Very disappointed with my food. The egg roll is some kind of mush- doesn’t look or taste like an egg roll at all! More like Samosa filling mushed and stuffed inside. See pic. Other food, lemon chicken and Cantonese chow mein, were flavourless and mushy. Would not recommend.

Been going to Canton Garden for over a decade with my family and friends, and have introduced many others to this absolute gem. The best Chinese food in Halifax, by far! I have not had one bad experience in what must be close to 100 visits over the many years. Incredibly friendly staff, phenomenal food, and a perfectly relaxed atmosphere.
Strongly recommend the ginger beef, general tao's chicken, beef and broccoli, and the wanton soup and spring rolls!

My husband and I went to Canton Garden after a long time of me taking my mail nearby it & always seen the place from outside but never coming in.
It was worth the wait. The food was delicious, the portions generous (I ordered the dumplings and pineapple chicken & my husband ordered the won ton soup and chicken wings).
The waitress who served us did a very good job & was considerate of an allergy my husband has and served the food to him without the part that might cause him allergic reaction.
We also liked the ambience, it is very warm, intimate and inviting, a cute little place. Prices were fair, according to the kind of food & portions they serve there. We hope to eat there again in the future.
Parking: It is an area of a bunch of businesses, so parking is available & free.

The quality of the food went downhill. They mixed up my order and gave me curry chicken broccoli and rice instead of the beef and broccoli dinner,

The food was rough and gave me a stomach ache. My friends also were not impressed. The rice tasted off, maybe slightly burned. The beef and chicken was slimey and rubbery. The egg rolls tasted like there was a paste inside.
The staff was nice though!
