This shop has a limited menu. I hoped this meant that the quality of all the dishes were higher. Unfortunately this didn’t apply to the one vegetarian noodle dish on the menu. We got the Combo C, which was a veggie soup bowl, cucumber salad, and marinated egg. The only good dish was the cucumber salad.
The noodle soup was incredibly bland, and the noodles wet and had very little texture or chew. The broth didn’t taste like anything, we used the salt and pepper at our table and the sauce from the bottom of the cucumber salad to give it some character. Also disappointing was the marinated egg, which was hard boiled and overdone. It was incredibly chewy. The seasoning would have been good were the egg soft boiled, or even a not overcooked hard boiled.
There were also no napkins at the tables, and none came with our food.
Based on reviews it seems like the meat dishes here are really good, but the vegetarian noodles aren’t something I would try again.
Vegetarian options: Cold and hot vegetables noodles are the two options. They were out of cold, but the hot was bland.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheel chair accessible. There is a small step down to enter the restaurant.

Wish I could have tried. Came in and there were no employees! Can’t order if there’s no one to take your order, and can’t eat if there’s no one to cook your food. April 28, around 2:25PM.

So so good! The best noodle soup and wonton soup I have ever had in Halifax. The noodle soup broth was absolutely delicious and I love the freshness the fresh cilantro adds to the brother. Great balance of salt/spice/umami. This never disappoints. I often find myself craving a bowl when in town, even after a meal ?The wonton is also extraordinary! Great to share as an appy and very filling if eating alone (14 wontons). If you like noodles this is a must in Halifax

The noodle soup is definitely tasty but for $20 a bowl, very overpriced.
DELICIOUS!!!
Wow, it’s really good. Highly recommend the mutton soup.
The most disgusting noodles I have ever eaten. The noodle soup was as bland as water with a pinch of salt, without any flavor. The middle of the braised egg was sour. The cold beef tendon came with a plate of white-cut beef tendon. The waiter said it was cold salad. . It used to be delicious mixed with all kinds of seasonings, but now I don’t know whether it’s because the boss has changed or because the chef is not good enough. I won’t come here again.
