Cha Baa Thai Restaurant (Halifax Demone)

I’m an Uber Eats driver and the staff kept me waiting longer than necessary and spoke to me in a very unfriendly way. Even though I’m not a dine-in customer, I’m still working to help serve their customers and I think that shouldn’t be forgotten. I hope they treat delivery drivers with more respect in the future.

Absolutely delicious food and quick and friendly service.

We had the red curry, the cashew tofu, and the pad Thai.

Everything was flavourful, hot, and fresh.

Stopped in for lunch today… Place was empty when we got there at 12 but did area to get busy when we left. Ordered two lunch specials. Food was tasty but springs rolls were extremely greasy and our chicken dishes had two small pieces in each.. Very disappointed in the serving amount of protein versus rice and curry. Over all looks of the dish is 5 star for sure. Waitress took order but never offered any drinks or deserts or coffee. Felt like we were interrupting her not so busy day.. Probably won’t be back to this location.

I've ordered take-out from Cha Baa Thai on Desmond twice now, and both times were fantastic. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was ready to go right on time. Everything was delicious and hot, from the Thai rice and Pad Thai to the spring rolls. This is a great spot for some fast, tasty Thai food. Look forward to eating in sometime!

Ive tried on several occasions to place an order, and have it arrive properly. I pay $6 extra to enhance my rice and the container is only 3/4, sometimes half full.
I call and each person tells a different lie.

Tonight I received ketchup instead of sweet and sour sauce, that I paid extra for. And of course, no restitución.
They also say they weigh the portions so its small...then use smaller containers so people don't notice they are being ripped off. This kind of food used to be the cheapest you could get.

After the numerous chances. Im done with cha baa.
And honestly, even when they get it right (dine in) its nothing to write home about. Bland as sin, small portions, and overpriced.

Fresh, flavourful, with generous portions. Excellent service and moderately priced.
I’ve had Thai food from Victoria to Calgary to Halifax, and Cha Baa Thai is the best. I guess if I went to Thailand, there’d be some competition! AND the washrooms were spotless, and I mean gleaming!
Any one star reviews are obviously from unreasonable and miserable trolls who have no business going to superior establishments.
