My wife and I had lunch at the Chain Yard today, in Halifax NS. In a word it sucked. The place claims to make Urban Cider, paint thinner would be a better word. The cider was $10 a can and was disgusting. It tasted like vinegar. The food was below average. I got two meatball marinara slider about the size of golf balls for $14, there was so much salt in them, they were almost grainy. My wife had the UK vegan chili fries with cheddar, for $17. very good selection of ciders
my girlfriends and I ate and drank here Saturday for the first time for my Bachelorette dinner. everything was AMAZING! the cider was so good. I had the chicken strips and O.M.G. I have never had such delicious chicken strips in my life. The others had the brisket burger and talked about it all night! Our waitress (I cant remember her name and I wish I could) was the best.
