We had our lunch at this restaurant. We ate their salad with sumac powder in it. First time tried the sumac powder it was amazing. It goes really good with veggies. We also tried their chicken Mandi which was delicious. Had their tea, I absolutely love the red kettle. Tea was good. The only thing we didn’t like was the kunafa. The recipe of kunafa could be much better. Additionally it was not hot. Rather than that it was a great experience. I will definitely recommend this to other people.

Very fullfilling and flavourful meals. The best thing is they don’t experiment with the Lamb Mandi and it was served hot and fresh to us. Lamb Kabsa is good too. The desserts weren’t that good. They add rosewater to the Kunafa that didnt taste good.

We have been to five Mediterranean restaurants in Halifax area. Chef Abod is the best. Their food is cook to perfection. We tried appetizer and main/ traditional dishes.
Recently had Chef Abod cater a large event for work. Seamless process from ordering to delivery. Lots of food options for various food and allergy requirements. Everyone enjoyed the food, and lots of leftovers! (we ordered the dinner boxes which gave people the option to take home leftovers from their meal) I would 100% order from Chef Abod again.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan and vegetarian options.
Dietary restrictions: lots of gluten free options.

The staff was exceptional—friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive. They ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing us to fully enjoy our event. Their excellent communication in the months leading up to the gathering made the planning process seamless and stress-free.
The food was fantastic! Each dish was beautifully presented and delicious, earning rave reviews from our guests. A particular highlight was the Turkish coffee; it was rich and aromatic, providing a perfect finish to our meal that many attendees are still talking about!
