We loved Chicken Chop. The rotisserie chicken was so moist and delicious. I had the 1/4 chicken breast and I do not understand why. I am always a leg lady. It was huge and so moist. The home cut fries were delicious. My son had the Mac and Cheese and a spicy chicken sandwich. He said it was awesome. I was tired and we forgot to get a side order of Brussels sprouts or green beans which we have had before. I do not get to Halifax as often as I used to and we like to try different...
Friendly staff, good atmosphere but the chicken and fries were disappointing unfortunately. Chicken was crispy but tasteless and the fries were below average. Salad was ok with ginger twist
Love this place. The burgers are also gluten free and you can get a GF bun. The weekly specials keep things fresh with different interesting and unique burgers that can't be found anywhere else in Halifax.
The Brussels sprouts are amazing; heavy on the garlic, citrus and parm while being soft but with the perfect amount of char.
The rotisserie chicken is also quite flavourful and succulent.
