Pub dinning for Fine dinning prices. Would not go back. Would recommend the Cut or The Keg or Moxies over this restaurant. Left hungry and paid a big bill for not good food at all. Sorry for the bad review but this restaurant earns it for sure.

Dined at chops for our anniversary about a month ago ,ordered escargot,it had lemon basil on it very bitter terrible tasting, unfortunately my wife ordered roast chicken and it had the same herb on it ,kind of ruined the meal ,contacted a manager and he apologized and send he would send out a $50gift card which never came ,felt like insult to injury ,we won't rush back

The vacuum was still by our table when we arrived. The soups were not hot. Our mains took over an hour to get to the table. One baked potato was not cooked. When a new one came, it was only half of a potato. While the other dinners got full potatoes. The table next to us got only 2 dinners got 1/2 potatoes. Other diners ordered later and finished sooner. They gave us free sweets, but it really was not a great meal. Not sure what happened this night, but we won't be back.

We went to Chop for our son's 16th birthday dinner. The service was great (apologies that I can't remember the server's name). For starters, we shared the birria spring rolls and steak bites. After two beef starters we continued with with the âbeefâ theme and my husband had the prime rib, my son had the strip (both were perfectly cooked) and my daughter had the burger. I went with with tuna tataki and fries. Everyone was happy with their selections. Somehow we were still up for dessert. My son was offered a free dessert for his birthday and chose the chocolate layer cake, which was a new menu item and he gave it a thumbs up. We also shared the sticky toffee sundae, which the rest of shared. Something to note - it's not âtoo loud.â Although I don't mind a bustling/loud restaurant, I know ânoise level' is a common complaint in some restaurants. If you want to be around people while still being able to have a conversation, the dining room at Chop is ideal.

Out of both halibut and cod, my friend ordered prime rib to find out there was no Yorkshire pudding which tells me you must have run out of frozen ones. 4 people at our table ordered mushrooms to go with their steak, enough for two ppl per serving, would of been nice to be told that. Mushrooms were tasteless and not cooked enough literally floating in juice. Rare filet was unseasoned and served Med Rare. Caesar salad was barely dressed, had no cheese, no fried capers and crostini snapped in half to serve as a crouton (lazy). Mushroom goat cheese app was very good.

Wonderful experience celebrating our anniversary here. The staff and manager were very kind and personable and the service was excellent. When they found out it was our anniversary they brought out complimentary bubbly, and even a card hand signed by the staff at the end of the meal. Food was delicious and the prices are extremely reasonable. We will absolutely be returning!
