On recent trip to Halifax we went to Classic Pizza on Pizza Corner to get a Halifax Donair. We were the only people in restaurant yet counter person was less than enthused to serve us . She had to remake our food 3 times to fix her errors in listening to items we requested be on our donair. When these errors were pointed out she blankly stared at food and tried to blame us for their error until we asked politely to remake our food . I asked for key to use washroom and they replied by saying they didn’t know where it was. I asked her if they could look for it, again I was met with blank stare once again Another staff arrived so I asked if they might know where the washroom key was? They rudely barked at me that the washroom was out of order, yet there was no sign on washroom door stating this just a sign directing customers to ask for key. When I mentioned that bi-law says a restaurant can’t be open without a functional washroom. He once again rudely said ‘he could do what he wanted’! It really is a shame that the horrible service left such a bad taste in my mouth I couldn’t even enjoy what was actually a good donair. I can’t even imagine how this place would function if busy since they couldn’t get the orders of the only 2 customers correct! Maybe get take out but definitely don’t dine in !

We sent our donair order back because it was wrong. Came back with my friend’s donair correct but mine wrong yet again but I was so hungry I just ate it. The counter girl just looked our orders confused like we were putting her out. We needed washroom but was told key was misplaced and then the manager told washroom was out of order. When I was leaving I told him that all our orders were wrong. He said what do you want me to do about it? A simple sorry is all you need! I said just mention it to counter girl who clearly wasn’t paying attention to a very simple no onions, no tomatoes. The food was very good but the rude experience left a bad taste in my mouth. The donair was not finished. I’ve never left a good donair behind!

Great vibes here, small restaurant, the owner genuinely cares about his product, and is a master of making super delicious food, if I’m ever back in Halifax I’m making this a sure place to visit again.
Get the donair, it’s messy but delicious!

One of the best chicken poutines I’ve ever had in Halifax. Moreover, the guys working there are very humble and respectful.
I ordered a Donair Plate however I received a bbq pizza. I called right away and they did fix . it was right at closing time. I will say the guy working did stay to remake the order, bud I had to rush to the location within 15 mins or the guy was leaving.... after getting delivery When I got home to the food was still hot however it was basically soup and the fries were mush and very soggy. The donair sauce was non existent as it just turned into a runny liquid. I asked for a refund but have not received it as of yet. Recommendations: put the donair sauce on after the plate comes out of the oven not before. Or sauce on the side. I have ordered many of these pates around town and none were like that unless the sauce was put on and then went into the oven.
