My wife and I arrived at the Dresden Row location when we realized they were about to close. Instead of saying we were too late, Marilia welcomed us in, maybe, I thought, because there were just two of us and probably would not keep them too late. However, our server Marilia was the real deal with a kind demeanour and a genuine smile. She made a menu recommendation that was just what we wanted. It had been a while since we had been at Cora's but will be going back much more...

Early morning visit on a very rainy day. Lovely lady served me and went out of her way to help me find my hotel. I wish I had taken her name. She set me in good stead for the rest of the day.

I understand it was busy on New Year's Day, but did not expect to wait over an hour for brunch--especially since we were seated immediately and not warned that the kitchen was overwhelmed with orders. We would have appreciated more transparency upon our arrival as we could've gone elsewhere.
