Been a regular here for a month or two now. Great prices and great food.

This place is my absolute favorite of all the breakfast places in Nova Scotia! The food is hearty and tastes amazing, the vibe and staff of this place is the friendliest, most welcoming I have ever seen and this is not an easy feat in Canada :)
I've been eating here for over 4 years and this place and I'm not changing that anytime soon! :)

Breakfast menu is more expensive than the lunch menu. Prices don’t really match the old school diner vibe of the place.
$19 for 3 pancakes, no extras.
$22 for eggs benny, Includes hash browns.
$9 for a milkshake
$3 for hot chocolate

Unfortunately, one of my eggs for the eggs benny was undercooked with raw egg white. Some people are not bothered by this but I find it gross. The hollandaise was slightly broken but covered in paprika to make it less noticeable. They did reduce my meal price by $5.
The pancakes were large. My kids only ate one each. They have fake syrup.
The milkshake looked great (sorry no picture) but one quarter of it was foam.
The hot chocolate was not very chocolatey (my sons take). I tasted it and it was very weak. It looks much darker in the picture than in real life.

Service was friendly.

The bathroom door knob doesn’t fit the hole in the door so I didn’t venture in. It’s like a big peeping hole 👀

It was busy with a steady stream of people. I wanted to love this place and was hoping to find a new “go to”, but I don’t think I’ll be back.

Breakfast for 3 (1 adult and 2 kids) was $75 (including $10 for a tip).

A classic, friendly diner tucked away in a residential area. The food is your typical diner breakfast, which is good but nothing groundbreaking, but a good price. Service was fast and friendly and my coffee mug was always full. Worth a stop for breakfast!

Cozy just like the name. Definitely a favorite that's just up the road from my sister's house. Always get lucky when it comes to finding seats. This is a very popular diner because of the delicious food and big servings!

Traveled from out of town and stumbled upon this cozy breakfast joint. With no frills but just wholesome, breakfast kindness, it felt like I was welcome to the neighborhood. The charm of friendly locals chatting over hockey and local parks and the weather, sipping coffee and (literally) knitting sweaters as they enjoyed another morning of being alive. Thank you to the manager who allowed me to leave to find an ATM after my debit card failed to read. I recommend this place to any one looking for something authentic in Halifax.
