Aug 20/23: Obviously Cousin’s Restaurant is more interested in their UHaul business than their restaurant business. Ordered lunch (hot turkey sandwiches) after 10+ minutes the waitress informs us that our order was going to take a while because they were serving a UHaul customer that arrived at the location after we arrived. Would not recommend this restaurant. ? ?

I decided to place an order to have it delivered to the hospital. My father wanted scallops. I waited over an hour for them to deliver. I had a confirmed that the order went through. After an hour I called and they said they see the order, but for some reason they didn’t start the order. They also said they had nobody to deliver. so I drove there to pick it up for my father. I got there. I waited about 20 minutes more. I brought it back to the hospital and it was the worst food. I think I’ve ever eaten. The scallops for over cooked and the poutine was just a big mushy gravy pile. They still charged me for the delivery fee even though I took my time and went and picked it up. Just inexcusable. Avoid this restaurant.

It’s had keeping an age-long restaurant like Cousins but they’ve done a good job with holding down the forte

It was a shame how far gone this restaurant has become after covid. The food was not good at all, and this place used to serve the best homemade meals in the North End a few years ago. They served us a green mouldy roll with the soup. Butter tasted like it expired last year. Sandwiches were burnt to black. Fish and chips were mainly oily batter and little fish meat. The server had extremely noticeable body odour. They did not bother refilling the water or checking in. Rats were running inside between tables. The whole family meal was just a very unpleasant experience.

Ordered southern. Fried chicken. I would even call it eddible so tasteless and dry... Fries were not even cooked. Veggies served not fresh.. Felt like the food was left over and reheated in microwave.

A wautress named Roxy was so rude to me and my mother that I was appalled by her behavior. The worst service I have ever had and I work in the industry!

Service was actually pretty good but food was bad. It was kind of funny that the maple syrup bottle looked like it had been refilled 1000 times but it was just a cheap walmart brand bottle of syrup.

I've been going to cousins ever since I was a toddler almost 40 years ans their food is just as tasty as it was then. They also have Greek dishes as they are a Greek family owned establishment! They have the best baklava EVER! OH and coconut cream pie. ? yummy. Some of the must haves are hot hamburger platter, hot chicken sandwich, any of their burgers, kabob meat with veggies in pita pork and chicken- both are to die for. As well as their fries ans gravy, real mashed potatoes and the pork chop dinner. Omg I almost forgot the seafood platter is where it's at. Also the BLT w/cheese or the one with BLT, cheese, hamburger, and turkey! Their service is always friendly unless you get one of the hags that have worked there for years! Will vacuum around you while eating! The owners are incredibly nice as I have known then for years ?definitely would recommend ?

Me and my friends went for breakfast for the first time in a long time. The sausages tasted like sawdust, the fish cakes tasted like they had been in the fridge for a very long time. The prices have gone up and the quality of the food and service has really gone down. Will not eat there again......

Ordered the hot turkey sandwich. For nearly $17 plus tax, it was not very good. Small bits of turkey and some inedible bits. I'm not sure what it should cost today to make a good hot turkey sandwich, but in my opinion, I did not find it here.

I ordered the cabbage rolls, they were way too salty, as were the roasted lemon potatoes. The potatoes were also soggy. They only had one waitress who was trying to keep up with the workload but they were too busy. We had to wait an hour to eat. I also think that the atmosphere was outdated and dingy.

I used to love the food here, yesterday I had to send my Mussaka back twice! first time it was cold, second time the eggplant and potato were not cooked! I told the waitress I would never come back, as it came with white rice, and tasted awful! I will stick with the Bluenose Restaurant!

Went there last night. They served me chicken wings that were still raw inside and I didn't notice until I ate most of a wing. Sent it back they made new ones. The food was horrible and not edible. Woke up this morning with severe nausea probably food poisoning.Do not recommend this place at all.0/10

I went here my with mother and father the other day for lunch. My mother hadn't been here in several years but told me she used to go all the time with her best friend for lunch and had fond memories of the diner. My mom and I split the club sandwich and fries. The fries came out of the kitchen pretty much raw. We had to send them back. The club was so bland and dry. The service was terrible. The servers literally threw our dishes on the table. At one point in serving my coffee, the server spilled the coffee all over the saucer and did not even acknowledge the mess. Will not be going back.

What happened to Cousins? We ordered take out. It was a bad experience right from the start.1. The way the person answered the phone "yeah"2. When I walked in at 6:15, the waitress immediately says to me, you don't want to sit down do you? Offering no explanation3. I asked questions to double check our order was all there. AND IT WASN'T. Yet she had no problem charging me for everything4. It wasn't busy, there was maybe 3 tables in the whole place and I should have taken it as a sign.5. The food smelled of rotten fish, I was gagging on the way home.6. 21.99 for a haddock dinner, nothing but the dinner included. The potatoes were gross.7. We wasted hard earned money and sadly will never be backWe miss the old cousins .... What happened to them.
