The service staff was amazing! They have an impressive wine list. One of our party ordered oysters for the appetizer and they were very fresh, coming from the oyster bar, located directly below the restaurant. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The duck confit was spectacular. The sides we ordered were very tasty (squash, carrots, mushrooms). A highlight of the meal was the dessert! The wonderful selection of petit fours to share was spectacular! The combination of housemade chocolate/toffee bark, truffles, tarts, and multiple flavours/colours of macarons were such an indulgence! (and there was some fruit too). Overall the experience was excellent.

This was both of our first times here. The staff were very friendly and attentive, having the different cuts of steak on display was great for deciding what to order. The food was delicious, the Cesar salad was my favourite, the oysters Rockefeller were cooked perfectly. We had tenderloin and the truffle Mac and cheese, which was flavourful and creamy. As someone who doesn't eat much red meat, I really enjoyed the steak. Definitely a nice restaurant for date night, for steak lovers.

We are no strangers to dining at Cut Steakhouse, and as such, have certain expectations any time that we visit. As we have come to expect, the staff were friendly, attentive and provided just the right amount of coverage, to allow us to dine quietly (as a couple) while still receiving excellent service. Everything we ordered was received fresh, hot (as applicable), and wonderfully prepared. We were not disappointed by any aspect of the evening. Our favourite steak house in the city.

A challenge finding our way in to the restaurant as we didn't want end up in Ketch. Once we got upstairs there was nobody to greet us ( a girl did show up eventually). My wife commented that the environment was quite sterile. We were off to a rough start when the male server was pouring the ice water into our glasses and ice cubes went skittering across the table. I'm old school I guess and I was put off by the waiter's visible tattoos on his hands as he served our drinks. Also, I'm not sure the rolling cart display of raw meet does much for the dining experience....to be honest it kind of squashes my appetite. The strip loin was strictly average; the tenderloin was quite good; the Sandalford wine was delicious. The best part of the meal was the delicious side dishes. The music could have been brought up in volume a bit; we ended up hearing too much of the inane conversation from the newly dating couple at the next table. We mentioned a couple of times that we were there to celebrate our son's 30th bday but there was no tiny dessert with candle or anything....it would have been a nice touch.

We had Keith as our server and have zero complaints. Great personable gentleman with exceptional customer service. We also had the pleasure of dealing with Aaron the manager/sommelier who also offered next level service. We will also find our way back to the Cut as it is ALWAYS superior service.
