Just took a bus 2 hours to try a lobster roll and the place is closed. Website says their open all day till 7 pm. So bummed
Came here once and had a pretty decent lobster roll. Came back at 12:30 one day and they were supposed to be open at 11, never opened. Came back another day at 3, again not open. Messaged them about special hours, etc. but got no response. You're better off going to a restaurant that actually maintains hours and serves lobster rolls.

Leaning towards a 3.5 star. Decent lobster roll but way too tiny. I liked the sides though and the bread was one of the best buttered bread I’ve had. Good memories.
Good, but definitely better ones elsewhere. Today it was just over $39 Canadian for the roll (including tax) which was equivalent to about $30 US. I recently paid $40 US in Las Vegas for the same, ‘previously frozen’, lobster roll. Not near the sea, but frozen goes anywhere.
So much butter the roll was soggy. Hunks of lobster held together with a lot of shredded meat.
I had one day off a cruise ship in Halifax. Rather a captive audience.
Security at the port said tourist spot; elsewhere you shouldn’t pay over $30 Canadian.

Very disappointing, you can get a fresher roll with actual chunks rather than tiny pieces at any good restaurant nearby - at the same price or a bit less. Had too much garlic and oil too

Worst lobster roll I’ve ever had and I’ve had many. The garlic lemon sauce was so overwhelming and the lobster itself was chopped into tiny pieces. The roll fell apart as it was so saturated with sauce. You couldn’t taste the lobster just the sauce. Horrible. Fresh. I don’t think so. The server said it came out of the freezer and it tasted like it. Steer clear. Definitely never going back.

The BEST warm lobster roll! Forget Connecticut style - get the warm lobster roll here: fresh grilled bun and tender, buttery lobster. Friendly counter service! I am not joking when I say this is best lobster roll I've ever had!

If you’re in Halifax and craving a lobster roll, Dave’s Lobster Halifax offers a tasty, fun, and scenic experience—especially with the Half-and-Half combo. But be ready to pay a bit for the indulgence, and don’t expect a hearty portion.

Yeah, it’s an expensive lobster roll but it’s in a prime tourist spot so that’s to be expected. As someone who grew up in an area with a lot of lobster, I can confidently say this lobster roll is great! Nice buttered bun, right amount of mayo (just a bit), and fresh oceany flavor. And the chips- way better than they have to be! Not sure why it has such a low review score, it deserves much better.
