Their Lobster rolls were so good, I ate there two nights in a row. The second night was after already having dinner at McKelvie’s which was good but not amazing. I’ve always been wary of food served from food trucks etc, but this was exceptional.
Tried Dave’s Lobsters for lunch — definitely a touristy spot. I ordered the half-and-half lobster roll and paid around $40 after tax and tip. As expected, prices at the pier are generally higher than elsewhere in the city, so it felt pretty standard for the area. The lobster roll was tasty, though the portion was on the smaller side. Dave’s Lobster Roll is hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had. The lobster was incredibly fresh, tender, and perfectly seasoned. They don’t skimp on the meat either—every bite was packed with sweet, juicy chunks of lobster. The bun was toasted just right: buttery, warm, and slightly crisp on the outside. You can tell they care about quality and flavor here.
