Dessert Yard - Cafe - Nova Centre

The atmosphere is nice, but the service was super slow and our brunch was cold when it came out, an hour after we arrived. The restaurant was by no means busy. We were disappointed and left hungry. My husband still managed to pay way more than we should have, they did take one meal off of our order but we likely won’t be back.

1st time here in Halifax & found this place on Tiktok. visiting from Regina, SK.. amazing desserts..

Service was great. Food - great presentation but nothing special taste wise. The pictures of the items on the menu are a bit misleading size wise. you better be hungry when you go. portions are large. Price I would say is decent for downtown Halifax. My biggest issue was the weird look of the place. seems like it doesn't know what it's going for. looks fancy but the style is weirdly coloured and outdated. Wouldn't go back overall

Customer service is unacceptable. Very rude and unprofessional.

We had such a fun time here for my daughter’s birthday. The staff delivered excellent customer service, the food was great, and the atmosphere is unique to other restaurants in HRM. We sincerely appreciate the special effort made to acknowledge my daughter’s special day and we will definitely return soon.

This is my fav fav fav place of deserts!! But yesterday on friday it remains open till 1 and we went at 12:10 but they denied to serve us, I legit went from bedford to downtown just for the desert and they were like we re not serving like before 20 min the kitchen is closed which I understand but it was 12:10,, 50 minuted were remaining for the close, still they refused.. then why do you guyssss open up until 1 AM????????? ! DISAPPOINTED

This place is a favorite! I usually come with my friend for their amazing fettuccine crêpes, and the cakes are always a hit. I ordered through Uber Eats today, and there was a small mistake, but the owner was fantastic, quickly fixed it and even sent extra. Great service every time!

What a lovely ambiance to enjoy dinner or a treat. Starts with the flower wall at the entrance, cherry trees, and the cool lighting and green chairs.

Server was very friendly and our hot tea and coffee came out quickly. The fruity supreme waffle and carmelized banana waffle were delish.

I could do this every day ?

We were sitting for 15-20 minutes,waiting to order but no one came to us,even when we made the eye contact. When i was leaving without order anything,i told server ,and he said the system doesn’t work ?So if system doesn’t work you have to go and check every table 2-3 times i guess. First time and so disappointed.
