Our table had the meatThali and Tikka Masala. The naan was the best we ever had. Everything was delicious! The owner was very nice. The atmosphere was lovely. The price was reasonable. We will definitely go there again.

Best Indian food in Halifax. Love their butter chicken, vindaloo, saag paneer, naan bread, and condiments. We live on the peninsula but will drive to Bayers Lake for Dhaba or order through delivery services. We have tried other Indian restaurants such as Curry Village and Mirchi Tandoor but the flavours do not compare.

I had a very uncomfortable experience at Dhabha Express. Back in 2018, the server was extremely rude and repeatedly told me and my friend not to eat naan with our hands. This was said multiple times and made us feel judged and disrespected, especially considering that eating naan by hand is completely normal in the cuisine being served.

The experience was so unpleasant that it genuinely put me off returning, and I’ve avoided the restaurant ever since. Even years later, it still stands out as a negative and embarrassing memory.

I’m writing this now while comfortably sitting in another restaurant that actually respects cultural ways of eating. Respect and basic courtesy go a long way, and unfortunately, that was missing here.

This place is a hidden gem. The food is phenomenal and the portions are huge. I highly recommend Dhaba Express!

I've been coming to this location for over 10 years, I'm sad to say I won't be returning due to the quality and quantity of food for the price is just not reasonable anymore. The portion sizes are shocking compared to how they used to be. Something in the recipes have changed as well, and not for the better.

I’ve been a long time customer of Dhaba and it’s sadly has declined significantly. The service and the food have taken a hit in quality, and the portion sizes are getting rather small. Sadly I won’t be returning since there are other great options around.

I Door dashed my order from the restaurant last night, and as I was unpacking through my order the first thing that struck out to me was the 3cm layer of oil floating on top of the curry(as if the curry was added to bowl of oil), the level of saturated oils that curry had me concerned, overall the Rasmalai tasted synthetic, also the Panner kebab was quite tasteless because the content used to make it was not at all spiced up.
