Get better conainers for your curry. I open the bag and it is spilled. I couldn't eat my meal. Wasted my money.Food is tasty, it usually is my go to spot for Indian food.

I rate this place a 3.5. The food is good but it frustrates me that they never make the butter chicken spicy when I ask for it to be.

I recently went to Dhaba in Nova Scotia and wanted to share my thoughts. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and friendly staff, but I found the food to be a bit bland. The flavors didn't have the taste I was expecting from Indian cuisine, noting this restaurant is a Halifax Awardee.I also noticed that the menu seemed to be more tailored to a specific group of customers. As someone who enjoys trying different types of food, I was hoping for a wider variety that truly represented Indian flavors. However, I appreciated the welcoming vibe from the staff.
I used to love this place but hadn’t been in a while and last night’s take out wasn’t good. Not sure what happened but the naan, curries and biryani were not good and I felt bad for my guests after raving about this place. :(

Very nice inside, doesn't look like it would be from the outside. Having had Indian in the UK, always disappointed with the offerings here in Nova Scotia. Large portion of rice, too small a portion of curry to go with it. Had chicken tikka masala, but chicken didn't have that tandoor oven taste like it should. Not the flavour I was expecting. Server was lovely.

90$ delivery, rice not included with any portions. It was not good...cold, dry chicken or beef hard to tell. Lots of heat but no flavour. 4 years ago this was my favourite Indian take out. Customer service was unhelpful...I wasn't in a great mood speaking with them but this was not good food. So very sad. Maybe eating in is a better experience?

I wanted this to be so much better as I LOVE Indian food. But this was a disappointing lunch stop. The portions were warm, not hot. The sauce had separated and appeared to have been prepared from frozen. The naan lacked the distinctive markings and flavour of one prepared in a tandoori oven. With so many restaurants competing in this space, there is no place for complacency.

The worst food I ever had in Halifax. Paneer tikka was marinated with Chilli only, naans were pre-made maybe bought from walmart and thick. Samosa chaat and tikki chaat were worst too. We threw away the food, so that no one can get sick. Not recommended at all.

Delish Indian dishes! Was truly a tastebuds sensation. Beef vindaloo ? chicken Tikka masala was saucy and melted in your mouth. Naan was crispy and delish. The service was on point. Our server was readily available and made sure we had a great experience. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Great
