The service was very friendly, with good suggestions and guidance on the menu. The miso was tasty, the tempura light and crisp, the ramen fresh and well seasoned and the sushi not only artful but fresh and lively. Definitely a place I will recommend.

Absolutely wonderful. The sushi was SO good (carried out and dining in) and the staff were so kind. I went here three times while in Halifax for a week. They were beyond accommodating of dietary restrictions and preferences, too - when I dined in and we ordered one miso soup vegan, the staff checked in on a vegetarian-but-not-vegan roll we ordered to make sure we knew there was mayo in it, and would we like it left off? I used to be a Dharma Sushi regular from when it opened in the late 90s. I know it has changed hands a couple times, so I will review what I know currently.

First off, this is hands-down THE BEST Japanese restaurant in HRM (besides Sushi Shige in Halifax's north end). The food is excellent..it is good quality, very fresh and presented nicely. And very delicious! I recommend the Agedashi Tofu!
