Dilly Dally is Halifax royalty as far as cafes go. Everything is too notch, the vibes, the food, the drinks. Their social media presence is absolutely unreal, I do not know how they do it. Oh, and they use Montreal style bagels which is the cherry on top for me.

I've eaten in here probably seven or eight times over the years. Adorable atmosphere with cute attention to detail (a wall shelf of thimbles, random Xnas tree decorations hanging from the ceiling), very friendly staff, delicious food. A tad on the expensive side for what you get, but I understand that's the demographic and I still go, regardless of price. If I lived in the neighborhood, I'd probably have tried every item on the menu. I am not in the neighborhood, so have only tried a handful of breakfast items. Always delicious. You have to go early to guarantee a table, since it's small. So I know after 9am on weekends, there's minimal hope of a table, so you'll have to likely wait outside (as to not clutter up the place). This place would possibly get a 5/5 from me if it had more tables and perhaps reduced prices by even 10%. But it's still great!
