First time here, the food came quick and the fries are to die for! Kate was my server and she was phenomenal, super kind and attentive. They had a live jazz band in tonight which was excellent. Will be back.

I was here with my coworkers because we couldn't find a seat at the Narrows or Edna; luckily, the food was delicious. I'm not sure about the pizzas that all my coworkers got, but I really, really enjoyed my Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich and the Truffle Parmesan Fries. The sandwich was wonderfully crispy, and the flavours were all balanced together (unlike some pubs that always add super sour pickles/overly heavy mayo, which I do not enjoy). The fries were freaking AMAZING! Super crispy, airy but with lots of parmesan and truffle flavours. i really enjoyed them and will be back when I'm in Halifax again.
The vibe was great with great live music. The service was also excellent.

Wow......first time ever ordering....everything was fresh, delicious, and the BBQ sauce was out of this world!..the only issue was the fries and pulled pork...fries were overcooked...everything else was perfect!!

Came in to listen to some live music last Friday night with friends and family. Our server Kae was knowledgeable, friendly and kept our drinks full. The kids in our party said the wings and nachos were the best they had. The #7 pizza on the menu (can’t remember the name) was perfectly cooked and a great portion. Can’t wait to come back

Stopped in while on a walk with my wife and ended up having a great full Saturday afternoon. The server was super fun, friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is like a local neighborhood pub where you can enjoy everyone's company and have some laughs. I recommend stopping by to everyone. PS the cheesecake was amazing.

Quite literally, some of the worst service I have ever experienced came in today for lunch. The waitress approached our table with a nasty attitude over a mistake she made—and she was dressed in a crop top and mini shorts, unbuttoned—super unprofessional. I won’t be back. Then, when the second half of our group showed up, her attitude changed extremely quickly (because they’re white, I assume). Can you say gentrification!!!
We had the smashed stack and the fish and chips—both were delicious. The truffle parmesan fries were very crispy and full of flavor, and the bun was fresh. I tried the Diablo beer, which was amazing—light, slightly spicy, and honestly the best I’ve ever had.
Our server, Kae, was extremely nice, polite, and friendly. She even went out of her way to check if the beer was available at the duty free shop in the airport since we were flying back to Toronto, after I told her how much I loved it.
I definitely recommend this place!

Today my women’s group, decided to have our brunch at a local Restaurant. We made reservations and were greeted with a not so nice server. Who advised us we didn’t have a reservation and became very rude, when asked if she recheck, see refused. Although the restaurant was visibly empty , she refused to accommodate us. Truly Disappointed.

Made a reservation with a follow up email for a group of community elders wanting to try the new place in the community. We were told they could not find our reservation and we must be wrong. There was not a single person in the restaurant and they were reluctant to even let us in. When we got seated we were told the kitchen is low staff and there will be a long wait for our food and being 9 people there would be an 18% gratuity added to our bill. She was beyond rood to our elder ladies and our pregnant staff members with them. Zero stars can’t see them lasting long on Gottingen street.
