Some of the better food I have had in Halifax.!I was with someone whi has travelled the whole world and she thought it was outstanding. Top notch service, highly adaptable and friendly but professional. The halibut cheeks are extraordinary. Not all fine food is found in the boardwalk. I would say that i prefer this over some of the higher priced restaurants. Anthony Bourdain would have gushed over thus place I think.

The food was very good and delicately served on the plate, wine list was comprehensive but only a few local items - however noise level was very high, it was almost impossible to hear what my partner was saying. Luckily we sat by the window otherwise it would have been unbearable.

20 min. or more to get drinks and bar was not busy. 2 friend split the duck breast - his half was fine, her half was sinewy and unchewable. I had squid tagliatelli, not much discernible squid in it maybe 5 small pieces. sauce was excellent as was my burrata. Friends were treating us so I could hardly tell them to complain about the duck. All the rest was outstanding. Agno,otti with scallops were superb.

What a wonderful evening and perfect place to celebrate a happy event. Service was warm and friendly and food was exceptional with one slight exception: halibut cheeks were over cooked by a couple of minutes and potato accompaniment was cold and flavourless (sorry - important to be truthful). The rest of the food was delicious and dessert was sublime!

Every time we visit Halifax to see our son we remember to visit this fabulous restaurant. The food is inventive and delicious without being pretentious. The ambiance is casual yet elevated. The level of hospitality is beyond expectation. On this visit we were treated incredibly warmly and felt every aspect of our experience was 10/10. The meal was superb, all five guests were thrilled with their meals! The appetizers and amuse bouches were stellar. The cocktails were crafted meticulously and the desserts were fab! The cost of the meal was extremely fair considering the quality, creativity and wonderful service.

Loved the choice between well-done classics to very creative discoveries. One thing that was surprising: water at the table was from the tap. The taste of tap water did not pair well with the rest. An establishment of this calibre would be smart to up level their water game.
We had brunch at EDNA. It was relaxed. The meals were deliciously! My husband had the egg sandwich special. He thought it was amazing! I had the banana bread French toast and it was very good. The staff was friendly. It was an enjoyable experience.
The food was excellent. The flavor combinations were imaginative and worked well. All the food was fresh and well presented. We had oysters, scallops, halibut cheeks, gnocchi as well as dessert and the charcuterie board. Our best meal in Halifax!
