Loved everything about EDNA except for the noise level. However this will not keep me from going back. The food and service was outstanding. I would highly recommend EDNA.

EDNA is fantastic! Absolutely delicious food - both the brunch and dinner menu - with friendly, helpful and attentive staff, despite the incredibly busy numbers. Cocktails are amazing, with unique, refined flavours. You will not be disappointed! It can get noisy, due to the folks who flock there for Sunday brunch, so a little extra sound-proofing might be nice, but it's great to see this a gem of a restaurant receive such a vibrant clientele!

I was greeted when I arrived and shown to my table right away. My waitress came over right away with an offer of water and hot beverage. When our party all arrived we were given plenty of time to peruse the menu (brunch). The menu was small with a good variety of dishes. There was also a special of the day. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu. Our meals arrived in a timely manner. The food was excellent. We didn't feel rushed at any time even though there was another seating after our reservation time.

The staff were excellent! We were a table of eight celebrating a birthday. The staff went out of their way to make the brunch extra special. I would highly recommend Edna.

I love that you can now make reservations at Edna. The old way (and wait, even with coffee) caused me to reconsider going even though the food was so good. Now, with reservations and a bit of planning I am always seated right away. The coffee, ambiance and food (we were there for brunch) were fantastic. I love that there are sweet/savoury options as well as more veg-forward dishes along with breads that are a treat and not just a side/delivery device. Our server was great. Was attentive, friendly and funny. It's one of the best in Halifax and we have a lot of good spots. *I have great photos but I can't seem to load them :(

The flavour of food and presentation is top notch. This was the second time my girlfriend and I have had dinner at EDNA and we have been very impressed. The ability to mix it up on the menu while still maintaining the quality of flavours we have come to enjoy at this restaurant really leaves a lasting impression. Would definitely recommend.

Every meal eaten at Edna is outstanding. The best food, yummy drinks, friendly staff, good vibes- what more could you ask for?? I had the shakshuka and it was a dream meal to have on a cold winter morning, warm and comforting. My boyfriend had the steak and egg special which was cooked to perfection, he noted that other than the steak he particularly loved the salad dressing (I agree). 10/10 would recommend for brunch, lunch or dinner.

We had a very enjoyable evening. It was probably a less busy night as it was shortly after Christmas but there was absolutely no rush in terms of us ordering or finishing our meal. The waitress was very friendly and excellent at her job. Great wine menu and the food was superb. I had not been to Edna's for several years and was happy to see it was as good as ever.
