Me and my girlfriend got the Jollof Rice and Fish and the Jollof Rice and Fried Chicken, both made extra spicy. At most restaurants we have to ask for extra hot peppers or hot sauce but the food here was actually spicy. They have good portions, good food and good customer service. We will be back.

Efty dishes was the best!! Visiting Halifax and we wanted some soul food - dinning experience exceeded every expectation - excellent food, amazing service, affordable prices, and the Chef and owner Efty was lovely. Nigerian food at its finest. Will come back again, and again, and again.

Another day I have gone to eat at Efty Dishes, yet again I am impressed with the quality of food. I had the Jollof rice with BBq chicken today (paired with pounded yam with Egusi for later). I’d say it’s worth every penny spent.
