We were so excited to try out this restaurant. We didn’t have food, just a drink. Drinks were fine, no complaints there. The food coming out from the kitchen looked and smelled great. We were both taken off guard by the rudeness of one server upon entering the restaurant. We laughed it off, but it continued throughout our short stay. We cut our evening short because of the interactions we were having with this one server.Overall, a cool concept but not what we hoped for.

Really sweet spot! The spicy margarita cocktail was deliiish. Pork dumplings and fish tacos were lovely. Cucumber salad was good too but a very generous portion we weren’t able to finish it! Service was amazing too. Would recommend!

Pork belly bao is amazing, michelada is great too. Small place so no reservations but worth it.

I loved the atmosphere and how delicious everything was. It's a small venue with limited seating allowing the staff and kitchen to focus on quality food and service. I also loved how the menu was short; you knew that whatever you ordered would be delicious. The food did not disappoint, the nachos and the tacos were so tasty and generous portions! I'll be back and next time to try their bao ice cream sandwich :)

Great food, great service! The restaurant itself is quite small, they don't take reservations. It's worth the wait though! The Bao are amazing, the cucumber salad is refreshing, the nachos are a big serving great for sharing but pretty basic.

One of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had in Halifax. Without being told the restaurant was full first we were seated in the florescent lighting of a closed Robie st. station chairs up and all, as two different music stations from both sides of the business were playing it was super hard to relax or enjoy the space. The food was disappointing the drinks were bad and the service was poor. Will not be back to either business after this.

Cute spot, cute ambiance, great fish tacos and margaritas (I have no experience with margaritas but I liked it)First off, fish tacos were so good! Fish was perfectly fried in a crispy batter with great toppings.Pork taco was loaded but lacked a wow factor (looked good and was filling and juicy though)Chicken wings were dry/overcooked and the flavour wasn’t great (reminded me of a cold Chinese fried fish dish-also might be a me thing but I wouldn’t get it again)Nachos were yummy but basic so I felt like the price was a bit high. Chips were very fresh and crunchy.Pork belly bao was yummy but lacked a fresh flavour like cilantro or pickled veg (might be a personal preference) but the pork belly was yummy and the bao was fantastic. We ordered the classic margarita and I thought it was great (I usually hate tequila but I’m trying to open up and try it again) and the agua de Jamaica wasn’t my jam but that might be a me thing.Female Asian server was great! So nice and helpful BUT there was the grumpiest looking white female server that… might be in the wrong profession. I felt intimidated whenever she glanced at our table. She brought out our nachos and practically rolled her eyes while adding another table to ours (I told her to leave nachos on the bench (table was full) beside me no biggie). Just big frowns the whole time we were there.Overall pretty good experience, kinda pricy ($135 for 2 people) but will be back for more delicious fish tacos and margaritas.

What a hidden gem! Everything about this place is fantastic. The food, service, and ambience, not to mention the prices are super reasonable and the food is unlike anything else in the city. 10/10 recommend!

Food was pretty top notch, and original, with good complimentary and fresh flavours. Drank liquor out of a coconut too and they weren't even made when I thought the empty across the restaurant yelling, 'huck a coc'!

Cute little spot. Lots of additional seating that is not visible when you first walk in, so if it looks full they may still have tables available. The drinks were great and the ice cream sandwich is a must.
