Absolutely delicious food. So fresh. We shared a couple meals. Both were stellar. The music on the day we were here was experiencing glitches. It would play for 10 seconds, stop for 10 seconds, play for 10 and so on = painful.

Great food, great service, nice venue, reasonable prices.

I usually never have a bad meal at Ella but today was the exception. I always eat in whether its the BL location of the Dartmouth Crossing but today was in a hurry and went for some takeout.

I usually always order the same thing when I go and today was no exception. I had the Kopanisti Dip with Naan bread. It was just as good as always.

But the spinach salad that I ordered was definitely not up to standards. When I opened the box the Spinach was all wilted...it looked old and was dark on the edges...it had 2 Extremely large mushrooms on top cut in half...one walnut...red onion in large pieces and looked like it had been thrown together. That salad was not worth $19.99. Very disappointing for sure.

The menu is super for meat lovers as well as those who are into freshly cooked breads and dips. All ingredients are fresh. Very flavourful. Portion size is for the hungry ~ you will be satisfied! Great service with ample attention paid to getting the customer what’s needed. Lacks a little atmosphere… it may well have been due to the time of day ! Perhaps a little gentle greek music playing in the background with sweeten it up that little bit more!

Had a delicious lunch at Greek Taverna in Halifax and everything was spot on! I tried the shawarma with fresh bread and a classic Greek salad — so flavorful and authentic. The ingredients were fresh, perfectly seasoned, and portion sizes were just right.

The interior is also worth mentioning — beautifully decorated with a warm and inviting Greek vibe that makes you feel like you're on a little vacation. Great service and cozy atmosphere too. Definitely coming back!

This restaurant is overpriced and serves subpar food. The food is reheated and burnt. They also use citric acid or bottled lemon juice instead of real lemon juice to add acidity, which is disappointing. A restaurant of this caliber should not compromise on quality, especially when charging such high prices. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Salty food that took over 40 minutes after we ordered. Sadly, our waitress only checked in once in those 40 minutes and we were left waiting to see if our food was ever coming. 3 tables arrived, ordered, and left between the time we placed our order and when our food arrived. Disappointing for the money.

The restaurant looks really nice inside. Friendly staff. Lamb tasted ok but the potato was flavored all the way through and not fresh. A little bit of dip that tasted like sour cream. Salad was mostly lettuce and cucumber. Very little grated cheese. Nothing else. No tzatziki, no pita. Tongue mildly stinging after from what chemicals? Jimmy The Greek fast food has way better suvlaki for less than $20.

Probably our favourite place to enjoy a lovely meal with atmosphere, pleasant staff and great overall experience! Love this restaurant and keep going back!
