Absolutely wonderful dining experience and quality of food and drink. We enjoyed the banter with Liam our server and he kept us well looked after for the duration. We did wait a little while for our post dinner coffees but that was minor issue overall. Great place with a great atmosphere, highly recommend and we will be back!
Four meals, all great. Personally, I thought the scallops with pork belly was superb. Sidenote -they don't normally serve bread, but I asked for some and got some nicely toasted with oil and salt and it was good enough to take home. The attention to detail was impressive.
Beautifully presented food, with flavour to match. We had the scallop, brussel sprouts, and gnochii. All were outstanding. The buttermilk cake with fresh berries for dessert was outstanding! A real gem of a local restaurant.
Amazing hospitality, delicious and well considered menu, and a laid back but lively vibe. It's the type of place that can somehow more than suit every occasion. It's a true gem!
Always a great time at Eliot & Vine! Amazing food and service- that's why we keep coming back! Thanks Phil!
This neighbourhood gem has been a favourite of ours for years. The food is excellent. The staff are friendly and professional. The ambience is both relaxed and elegant. We highly recommend it!
What a great place! Fine dining in Halifax, worthy of any comparison to NYC place. All the entries were locally sourced, including an excellent local white wine. We had halibut, scallops, and oysters that were all outstanding. Thank you for a great experience!
We have really enjoyed this restaurant in the past. This visit, we went early. There were only about 3 other tables at the time. It took a while to get our drink order. Next we ordered oysters. When we finally brought the oysters, we ordered 2 appetizers and main. We waited over 45 minutes and when it finally came, we got all three dishes at the same time. We were at a small table and it could barely fit the dishes on the table. We at the appetizers first. By the time we got to the main course, it was cold. Not sure why they brought everything out at once. The food was good (except for the cold main dish). Very disappointed in how the service went.
Always a really lovely experience at Eliot and Vine. We did the happy hour bubbly and oysters with additional seafood appies. Everything was amazing. Love the afternoon ambience ✨
Great choice for a relaxed dinner. The food was delicious, and the service was attentive, friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

Had a great dinner, scallops as an appetizer and the haddock and ravioli as mains. Scallops were amazing.
What a unexpected find on our visit to Halifax. The restaurant is in a quiet neighborhood away from all the tourist. Jen was the perfect server - was patient in answering all our questions. We were not rushed through the meal and were able to enjoy every item. The fried brussels sprouts is a must have. The butter milk fried chicken is a great new addition to the menu. You must save room for the buttermilk cake - delish - it was moist with blueberries and almonds as a topping
The food and service was excellent. The people were very helpful and informative about the menu and very attentive. Foos was wonderful and I even had a chance to talk to the chef to find out a few details of what I had eaten. Very much worth the trip !!!
Great service. One of the dishes was not cooked to our liking, and our server immediately replaced it. He was quite attentive. to be sure we were enjoying our dinning experience. The food presentation was creative. However, for our taste, we found that the sauces and other complementary ingredients commanded there own flavor and did not enhance the taste of our main fish dishes.

Really great meal. We sat on the patio, had oysters and swordfish. Also tasted the wagyu beef and short ribs, all were tasty, perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. Wine selection was very good and the wine pairing recommendation was right on point. Highly recommend this Halifax gem.
