Our server was exceptional. Attentive; provided answers to questions we had. The meal was DELICIOUS!! The restaurant is on our bus route - making it easy to get there and home without the need for a cab. Also, in the summer we can walk downtown if we want. We will definitely be back.

Great food and amazing service! Also - a very nice selection of wines. It was a birthday dinner for a person in our party and the staff went out of their way to make sure it was a memorable and fun evening for us. This is a gem of a restaurant!

Although skeptical due to the lack of reviews and pictures online, my girlfriend and I decided to give this place a try. We were both pleasantly suprised by the the overall experience and will certainly return again!

Looking to go back on a not so busy night. It was valentines and I should have booked at least a month in advance to get a table. Anyways, we always enjoy the bar and have eaten at the bar at plenty of fantastic restaurants. The food was fantastic. The owner was charming as was our server. We're going to go back in a few weeks with some friends and have a longer more relaxed meal than is really possible sitting at the bar.

Food portions are small, and everything is pretty expensive, but not overly-expensive. Server we had was 10/10 and brought out the wrong appetizer so we got 2 appetizers for the price of 1 lol. Nice little cozy vibe in there. Small tables though and not a lot of leg room for a 6'3 guy but it is what it is. Service was quick - in & out in less than 1h15m.

Loved the food and wine. Ambience was nice. Food served well. Parking was a nightmare there had to park quiet far away and walk back.Vegetarian options: Very limited but portion size is good for one person.

Overall good experience, the dish I had could have been a little warmer. That being said I would like to come again and try another dish. The brussel sprouts were the bomb.

We enjoyed an excellent meal at Eliot& Vine; we were a party of four and everyone had only good things to say about the food. Our waitress was great ;she was able to knowledgeably answer all our questions about both the menu and the wine, beer etc. The atmosphere was relaxing ,a bit loud but no worse than other places. We really enjoyed our evening. I will definitely return and recommend Eliot & Vine to others.

We went to Eliot and Vine for the first time for my birthday supper. The atmosphere, the food, the service, and the overall experience was incredible! The brussel sprouts are worth writing home about Lol but truly it was a lovely evening and we will absolutely be back!

I highly recommend Eliot & Vine for an outstanding dining experience. The welcoming atmosphere, attentive service (Jen was awesome), and exceptional food made the evening memorable for my wife and I. This was our first dinner at E&V and we can't wait to return.

Spent the summer in Halifax and this was one of our favourite restaurants. Dined here 4 or 5 times and each meal was excellent. Great cocktails & service.

We were first seated beside a large group of women enjoying their food and drinks but it was super loud and we were trying to talk together but it was loud laughter etc . Our lovely waitress picked up on it and asked if we wanted to move to a quieter area of restaurant. We were so grateful to her for offering us that ... as we would never have said anything but would not have enjoyed our first time at this restaurant. She took us to the florit room where it was warm and very cozy . ??
