I've been to Elle's Bistro as a tourist and loved it :) Had pancakes which were really good, and the atmosphere was nice and inviting. Service could have been at my table bit more often, but they were friendly and all in all I had a nice experience, can recommend!

Came in for a simple breakfast but we were treated with a really exciting menu, at fair prices. I wanted to try everything but I stuck with the classic breakfast with sour dough and sausage...... It was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Great service and a wonderful atmosphere. Don't pass this place, stop in for a surprise.

We had egg benedict with meat, pancakes ( half order) and French toasts, and two shakes. It was my sons birthday. Wonderful experience. Very large pancakes and toasts. Costed up to 60 cad. It's not bad for 4 people for brunch.

I’ve been to Elles bistro previously when I lived in Halifax and loved it, but when I came back to visit today I was very disappointed. The service was very slow, I believe only one waitress was working, but beyond that we waited over an hour for our food. I ordered a tea and the pot it came in was leaking and spilled boiling hot water all over my hands. I had ordered the Nutella banana and strawberry French toast, and found almost no Nutella on it (picture provided), and the French toast had no flavour. I had wanted to switch and order something else but the waitress never came back. Eventually I just decided to leave and get food somewhere else, after eating hardly any of my food. After mentioning how disappointed I was with the meal and service, I was still charged for the uneaten meal. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

Empty place, dirty tables the entire time I was there. The server seemed in over her head, very slow service, overheard her breaking the news to other tables over and over about things they don’t have left and so on after they ordered them and waited a bit…
Shouldn’t take that long to get through 3 tables…nor should it take forever for a bill to be given.
My eggs Benny had black avacado on it, that’s not pleasing to the eye to see, should have never sent it out of the kitchen, but clearly they figured I wouldn’t see it at the bottom of the eggs Benny.

Delicious and well priced. They were incredibly quick even though they had one cook and one waitress at the time (we came during off hours).They are so so friendly. Great atmosphere 😊
Today was our first visit and we will definitely be back. I got the chicken burger and my husband the clubhouse sandwich, which he allowed me a bite of and next time I will definitely be getting that! Service was friendly and prompt. The only complaint I have is the stairwell up to the bathrooms is very dark. I have a mobility issues with my leg and I found it challenging and hard to see going up and do own. Definitely need more lighting. Other than that was very pleased.

Amazing brunch! We had the mimosa flight with 4 different juices, eggs Benny and shakshuka and all of it was delicious. Regular coffee refills and an attentive server with great recommendations made it such a relaxed experience.
