There is almost no cheese at the shop.

Shame, really hoped this place would be a staple in the neighbourhood, but sad reality is, the quality is not there.

This place has gone way downhill since new ownership. They shouldn’t be allowed to keep the same name. Ripoff artists.

I would avoid this store. I went in with a gift card not knowing the store was sold to a new owner in December 2022. The old owners were great. The new owners would not honour the gift card. I offered a deal but in the end just left. Bad neighborhood practice I would say.

Thank you Nick & Gavin for the unbelievable and artistic charcuterie platter you delivered to the front line workers quarantining at home. Your selection of cheese is awesome!GREAT staff and amazing selection of local items. Can not wait to visit in person the next time I am in Halifax.

Interesting assortment of food. But the cheese we bought had mold on it (and was not the type that should). And worst of all, their $10 breakfast sandwich and Americano "deal" is actually more expensive than getting them separately ($6.35 and $3.00). When I pointed this out, the store clerk tried to convince us otherwise, but the math didn't work out. Breakfast sandwich bagel was tough and possibly day old.I wouldn't return.

This could be the most underrated little shop in Halifax. A great selection of delicious homemade and imported foods. You'll run in for one item and leave with more. And the staff are fantastic.
