Just left trivia night at Freeman’s Quinpool. I can barely feel my toes, it was so cold in there. We thought we were too close to the door but our server said it wasn’t much warmer anywhere else.
Our server was fabulous, just attentive enough without being a nuisance. She was very friendly and personable. She left us a bottle of water on the table, which I always love.
My burger was tasty but a little dry and the leaf lettuce was quite wilted. Fries were excellent, good flavour, great cut and just crispy enough.
All in all, I don’t think we’ll come back until the weather warms up.
Missed opportunity Freeman’s! You should have lap blankets made up with your logo for patrons in cold weather, to use and leave or buy and take home. Or at least fabric seat cushions…
We might have stayed for dessert or another round of drinks if we weren’t all freezing.

Absolutely loved Freeman’s Little New York Restaurant! We were there before Christmas of 2025. The food was incredible from start to finish. The Canadian cheeseburger was juicy and packed with flavor, the toasted Philly cheesesteak subs were hot, loaded, and delicious and CHEEZY!, and the Eggs Benedict was spot-on with a rich, creamy hollandaise.
On top of the great food, the ambience was warm and welcoming. Perfect for families, kids, grandparents, and everyone in between. Comfortable, relaxed, and full of that classic New York–style charm.
Service is good and very accommodating. Thanks Courtney! You're the BEST!

Huge thanks to Freeman’s for the generous donation of pizzas for our community event at Common Roots Urban Farm this weekend! The pizza was great and such a hit with everyone. We’re so grateful for the support and generosity.

Don’t order the Chicken Fillets and fry’s…
You’ll get 3 tiny chicken tenders and some fries, the menu makes it out to be chicken fillets but in reality they came right out of the superstore kilo bag for 10 bucks. You’d be better off going to grocery store across the street for much more generous portion for 1/3 the price!
Keep in mind the meal is 18 dollars. So so not worth it, misleading tittle.

I had a really really bad night and then I went to freemans and April went out of her way to turn it around. Freemans is lucky to have her and I feel lucky that she was working tonight. Idk if she’ll ever realize how much it helped.
