Fujiyama has become our only sushi spot! We found out about this Hidden Gem from a friend of our while brainstorming date night venues. The employee was very knowledgeable about the menu items. We were allowed to customize our Sushi, Thank you chef. We highly recommend this spot if your in the downtown Halifax area.

It’s finger licking good!The taste of the food here was beyond my expectation. They were totally up to my standard! What I was really satisfied with at this restaurant was the way the staff and waiters serve us there. They were very friendly and made us feel that we were our home. 6 of us had such a great experience here! The service was so patient and kind and their Vietnamese iced coffee and spicy salmon roll are my FAVOURITE. They gave us a free treat! They’ve been my favourite sushi place for so long. We got the love boat for two and the spicy beef noodles. Beautiful!

Last night in Halifax and not wanting a sit down meal. We ordered up a variety of rolls and appetizers. Friday night, prime time and we were told they would give us a call back when ready. 15 minutes later a very short walk from the convention centre, I retrieved, settled the tab and back to the room. All things considered, good value.

Service was slow. The house salad was creative, but should have been called coke slaw. Seaweed salad was great, a little small. Server was young and pleasant.Place is like a cave. Kind of cool for sure.We ordered the Surprize Roll and it was great and creative.But the warm Sapporo beer finalized the rating at a solid 3.
