No food at this location, with the exception of some bagged nuts or perhaps other pre-prepared items. Wonderful staff very well informed of the brews and very helpful with suggestions.

The first place you see as you leave the cruise port. Huge space with plenty of indoor and outdoor seatings. Big selection. They even have a 13-flight! Friendly staff and delicious beers.

We love Garrison! Great spot to drop in for a casual beer and take in the port vibes. Their patio seems to get sun much later than many other spots downtown, it’s our go-to if we’re looking for a sunny spot.
Also, huge shoutout to the staff who are always friendly. They even pulled up a few of the deck planks to retrieve my lost wedding ring - true hero’s! ❤️

Cool Brewpub right outside the cruise port at pier 20. Excellent selection of draughts. Coolers full of singles, sixers, and 12 packs. A good selection of non-alcoholic choices as well. A large sized merchandise store with all sorts of goodies. Great place to hang out until the last second before the gangway goes up. Great patio area to enjoy your choice. Cheers.

We dropped by on a weekday late afternoon so it wasn't too busy. Unfortunately, it's location is beside a busy road with lots of transport trucks and buses coming/going due to nearby port so it was quite noisy when sitting outside.
Maybe the vibe of the place is better in the evening but honestly, being located at the most southern end of the waterfront boardwalk seems to be a disadvantage. However, perhaps they hope to draw cruise ship passengers.
Ordered a flight of 5 different beers each about 4oz. I had the bartender choose the flavours - I wasn't overly impressed with the tastes.

Very expensive beer,is not a pint,small glass, maybe because is near the terminal cruise ship. If u walk 10min you got the same beer more cheap and a real pint
Garrison Brewing Co. really impressed us with its welcoming atmosphere and top-tier beer. We ordered a big flight to try as much as possible and ended up leaving with even more beer to enjoy later. Some standout brews for us were QueerBerry, All Lit Up, Hawaiian Crush, PB&J, Hoppy Boy, and Georgia Peach—so many fun and flavourful options.
And it’s not just the beer that caught my eye—I loved the merch so much, I left with a cool purple graphic tee that I’ll definitely be rocking back home.
Also dog-friendly! So we’ll be bringing our pup here when we’re back in the area.
If you’re brewery-hopping in Halifax, don’t skip this one!

Stopped here on a whim and I’m SO glad I did. The Blush berry cider was crisp, sweet, refreshing, and has become my favourite cider. Makes me really sad I can’t find any in Toronto!
