I have been dining at Gio for years and it has been an exceptional experience each time. The dishes are so beautiful and delicious, I love a menu that changes seasonally and celebrates local produce. It's a great spot to share a meal with friends in a cozy booth, or stop by to enjoy a cocktail and oysters at the bar. I highly recommend!

Our first time at Gio at it was a wonderful experience from the warm welcome as soon as we entered until we left. Service was wonderful and the food was delicious! I had the scallops with risotto and my partner had the steak. And the dessert... the best I have ever had.

The food sounded a bit far out on the menu. It was delicious. The best risotto I've ever had. It was under scallops cooked to perfection. Another of us had the lamb shank. It was fall off the bone and fantastic. Very friendly staff.

What a treat to have Chef Greg stop by our table and give us delicious beef satay skewers to start our meal. Everything was top notch! And right at our hotel. Bonus! We'll be back!

Omg I’ve Ben this restaurant for like almost 10years, the food always be like this fantastic. The service was incredible nice, I don’t speak English very well but they have fully attentions here. Overall it’s the restaurant you just got to go
My wife and I are always excited when we choose GIO for our date night and usually save it for special occasions as it is an elevated experience for us. The food was always incredible and service top notch. My last visit for my wife's birthday fell incredibly short on the food. It was honestly incredibly bad, I got the striplion at medium and it came almost rare and looked to be boiled. It wasn't even seared on the outside. The flavor profile of the sauce with now potato wedges instead of what they used to serve with it were less than appealing and did not give us that elevated experience we had hoped for It's tough to put it back into our top spot now if I can make a steak at home much better than what we had

We had such an amazing experience at Gio. Our server Molly really made this night so fun and special for me and my partner. She was so knowledgeable and really walked us through the menu in a way that was so helpful, guiding us based on taste and flavours rather than just telling us what was in the dish or which was more popular. Same with the cocktail and wine menu. Molly was also just so personable and witty, and really made the night so fun. We will be coming back for sure.

Good food but not great. The vegetarian option:. The charred sweet potato was the star of this dish. I couldn't finish the two huge portions of tofu wrapped in chard. The puree base is weirdly bitter and under seasoned. My companion said the confit duck w cassoulet beans was okay. Olive and whipped feta appetizer we shared was very good but came with only two small pieces of grilled sourdough. Our server kindly brought us two additional slices.

This place looks very unassuming from the outside, to the point that it’s nearly hidden, but it’s well worth your time.
First off, the service was top notch. Everything was perfect. I mentioned in my reservation we were coming for a birthday and new job celebration, having asked for nothing more than a candle or something small like that. The staff went well beyond my expectations in many ways. Our server (Oliver?) was an absolute gem as was everyone else. The service was pleasant all around.
The food was top notch as well! Phenomenal cocktails, I’ll definitely be coming back to have a taste of the rest of it :)
