Went to this restaurant with some friends for the first time, we decided to go just before 6pm as we knew the kitchen wasn’t open very late.
We were served water around 6:05 and we’re hoping that staff would come back and ask if we’d like some food, but there was nothing. We sort of got concerned around 6:25 and had went up to the bar and asked if we could order food.
About 5-6 staff were in a circle just chatting and it looked like we had bothered them by asking, they asked the single person in the kitchen if they were still taking orders and she explained that it had gotten too busy and they refused to make any food.
We had seen other people arrive after us and got their orders taken and food served to them so we were quite annoyed. When staff came over to apologize they said that they had all been walking around waiting for people to flag them down, this was not true. We were looking for someone to flag down for 10 minutes or so but everyone was in the bar talking.
Very disappointing and annoying experience. I get that it’s a student ran bar and it’s not that serious but I would expect at least something for the price of the food… don’t recommend

Good beer prices but the fish from the fish and chips was way overcooked and the service was slow for how busy it was.

It's really good place to eat and chill for both students and non students as there is a good variety of food and alcohol, and I reasonably priced. I would recommend the husky burger and the sweet potato fries.
Went here with the Grandson. He is doing Engineer programme. Food is okay. Maybe they should open culinary program to help out. Good institution. God bless young minds
One of the relatively undiscovered gems of Halifax. Bright, spacious, and clean, it has friendly staff and customers, good food, and is almost never crowded, including on Friday afternoons.
I go here because it is on campus at SMU. The food is quite decent. Music is way too loud to the point that I want to ask someone to turn it down.
Jennifer is always so friendly.

Uni pub. It's ok.
$10 breakfast was good..
Why so loud? Cheap drinks redeem you a bit
Great student pub hot food wide selection of drinks
Classic student pub / bar. Fairly cheap food & drinks and its pretty good. You have to pay for food / drinks separately and it's different staff that look after you so it's a bit of a hassle. The reason is just the way the univerisity food services operates.Food is nothing spectacular, but its great if your looking for a $10-12 lunch.
