I had Chef Abod cater a brunch with different kinds of wraps and spanakopita. It arrived exactly on time, warm, and people commented on the excellent sandwiches, asking who this Chef Abod was! Very tasty and recommended. Also I was pleased at the minimal and recyclable packaging- no plastic. I saved the foil for home use. Thank you Chef Abod.

We have been to this restaurant many times but not for a couple years. We had brought a group of friends based on our recommendation. Unfortunately, the food was largely a miss this time. The hummus was totally lacking in flavour. We passed it around to the entire table and we all agreed that it was entirely bland. The fatayer which has increased in price by about $4 over the past few years was totally unacceptable. It was clearly just taken out the fridge and reheated in a microwave so the crust was unpleasantly soft rather than the lovely crispness we expected. Fortunately the Shish Taowq chicken was tender and delicious so no complaints there. The fish was overcooked. The service was friendly but largely inattentive which was surprising as the restaurant was basically empty. I’m pretty sure the main chef here who is amazing was not working as I would be very surprised the some of the food we were served was allowed to leave the kitchen.

I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Abod today, he was lovely. When my coworkers and I began eating our chicken wrap and salad, all you could hear was “oh my goodness this is so good”, “I can’t believe how delicious this is!” and “yum yum yum!”
Needless to say, we all very much enjoyed our lunch. You will as well. This is easily the best food in Halifax.

Just had one of the tastiest take out meals I have had in a long time!
There curried Lamb Shank was phenomenal.
We also had a mediterrean platter, with falafel, kafta, grape leaves, and 3 different dips and pita bread and long grain white/ yellow rice.
Definitely recommend plus the portion sizes were excellent.

Today was my second time eating at Chef Abod. I failed to post a review the first time. At least I don't remember posting one. One thing I did not forget was how amazing the food is! I took my cousin with me tonight. I had the chicken shawarma plate( extra toum) fries and salad. It was absolutely delicious. I couldn't eat it all. The hummus was so creamy. The toum( garlic sauce) was the best I've ever had. My cousin tried some on her falafel wrap and was blown away by the taste. If you have not tried Chef Abod, you don't know what you are missing. Great service too.

Adri treated me to Father’s Day lunch on Saturday at Chef Abod. Amazing. Simply amazing. Special Appetizer Plate Mandi (Yemen) Tagine(North Africa) Knefeh Turkish Coffee Ayran I purposely did not have a kebab and was absolutely blown away at Chef Abod’s acumen. Thank you Chef for a wonderful visit to your resto. Great service, price, quantity and quality.

I love finding the little hidden gems. This place is amazing from the moment we walked in the door with the friendly greeting to the awesome service. When our food arrived it was beyond expectations. The presentation along with the different flavours. This place is a must if you want something better than your Mediocre chain restaurant.

We 3 shared a salad to begin, then had lamb, chicken & fish mains, plus baklava for dessert. All fabulous! We'll be back!
I used Catering King to host a meeting of a few employees. Their service was immaculate! From ordering to delivery, everything was stress-free. Not to mention, the chef made really good food. Will use again!
