We have eaten here the past two nights, returning tonight because we were pleasantly surprised by the prices being affordable, great service as it turned out by Samara on both nights, and tasty food. Usually hotel restaurants are overpriced but not in this case.

This place is difficult to find and hard to get to...

The overall experience was fantastic great service, our server was super friendly! The ambiance is nice too-The food is okay.

If you're downtown and need some afforsbale seafood maybe come here, otherwise it's okay to skip it out.

First time to Halifax. The service was terrible. I asked the waitress if there was any sulphites in one of the drinks and I ordered Naan bread. She said rudely, change drink. I went up to the bar tender and he looked at me like I was a bother. I never felt so uncomfortable in a place before. We left without the Naan bread because she forgot to order it. Wow.

Food good but service is horrible. When you ask for something the waiter acts annoyed and he waits on others before he refills a drink or brings something you need. This guy is horrible as a server. I don't recommend this restaurant as they only have a few servers, it's very small and is a "hotel restaurant".

A simple breakfast (2 eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and toasts) is $18!!! Our waitress brings the coffee but nothing to stir with.

Only reason to dine here is that it's attached to our hotel.

on July 29/24, i was overcharged $10.35 after our server followed us out of the restaurant saying she did not charge us enough when we were heading back to our room at Hotel Halifax. I paid this amount thinking Ok (our bill check 242427-1, was $25.30 for 1 Kailua, 1 choc banana parfait & an Irish coffee Plus a 20% tip of $5.06) and we did not want to short change anyone. When we returned home I checked my receipts from there. In fact, I paid the correct amount the first time. After calling them back 3x the Manager has not called me back. This is more about principle and terrible business ethics. Don’t let them scam you!

Our service was fairly slow, even when they didn't look to be that busy. Really the only negative of an otherwise excellent dining experience. Everything tasted great!

Relaxing atmosphere and comfortable seating. (They have small highchairs available too). They had a football game on the large TV at bar. Lovely servers.Had chicken wings ? and bruschettaYUMM!

Kid-friendliness: High chairs. Large area so you don't need to sit close to the bar if you don't want to.

Wheelchair accessibility: Large open concept, large tables you should be able to pull a wheelchair up to.

They have a breakfast buffet on the weekend for 20 Dollars that is decent enough for us to walk from the habourfront Marriott that we were staying at and have breakfast there instead.
